why have both?

I kind of don't really understand why there is a paradigm and a passion.  The paradigm can handle heavy oil, med oil and can be played on light oil.  The passion seems to be for heavier oil but the paradiam can handle that as well.

The other day on our pattern I really liked having a Solid over a pearl!  More volume?
To me the Paradigm really doesn't look like a heavy oil ball though I have seen it used on long!

Because they give signifigantly different looks on certain patterns. Come on that are not that close in structure to wonder.

They definitely are different balls. I play my Passion about 4 boards farther right (lefty) than the Paradigm. The Paradigm goes longer and then snaps whereas the Passion has more of an arc. My Paradigm is polished with Storm # 1 and the Passion is sanded 600. Since buying the Paradigm in December my average has gone up from 203 to 209 in one house where I use it about 95% of the time and from 197 to 202 in another house where I am using it about 70% of the time. The second house uses a bit more oil on some nights and on those nights I was using a sanded Triple Extreme. Just got the Passion last week.
