Since the Crossroad and the VRP have the same core and the same coverstock, with the CR being a hybrid and the VRP being a pearl,
WITH THE SAME Surface preparation, they will be very close,
BUT
put a little surface on the Crossroad and you will/should have the perfect complement.
Having the same coverstock and the same core goes a long way towards knowing how the balls will react and having a good partner. How much surface you put on the CR depends on all the usual factors.
