Wrist Supports
« on: September 23, 2007, 09:33:38 AM »
Hey Group,

Does anyone here use the Storms wrist support and if so how do yo like it?

I am referring to this one:http://www.bowling.com/products/storm-gadget-xf-right-hand.htm

Also, does having the wrist support 'index-finger' positioned like it has; does
it make it any better than another one that doesn't have that particular feature?

Well, I'm gonna buy one anyway but I'm just not sure if it will have the extended finger or not

Iv'e been using the Gadget for some time now and I love it. I use to use a ProRelease and switched to the Gadget about a year ago and I couldn't be happier. It's quite a bit more comfortable and it has removeable padding that allows you to remove and wash so it doesn't get that "funky" smell that alot of other braces get. You can't go wrong with a Gadget.

Thanks BB, btw, which model do you use?

I brought one recently...the one with the index finger...so far very good...no more breaking of wrist at the release. Sorry can't compare as I didn't get to try the other model.
BionicBowler,
One question for you...do you always change the cupping position during games or league to throw the spare ball ? After constant changing of position, will the locking mechanism (screw) come loose or last ? That is my only worry...
