X-Factor
« on: February 20, 2005, 11:50:56 PM »
I was in a mini-slump, hit and miss the past 10 days. Felt like I was swimming upstream while bowling.
Well I decided to put my Tried and Trusted go to ball back in my bag for my Saturday league. Good thing I did.
After the practice session my X-Factor felt comfortable and I was coming out of it smooth.
I started my first game with the front seven, left a solid seven pin in the eigth that never should have been there, then went off the sheet for a 279.
Second game I flushed the rack for a 300.
I started the third game with my worst shot, ball came off my hand a little early and got into a quick roll, it went high but I got lucky and only had the six/ten which I converted. Got through the remaining part of the game up until the tenth frame clean with a couple of taps. Had a double going into the tenth and flushed my first throw in the tenth, left a stone nine pin, that cost me my personal high series. Ended with a 226 and an 805 series.
GOTTA LOVE MY X-FACTOR.....

You've peeked my interest !
I have a NIB 15# with a 3 inch pin and
a 3.22 top waiting to be drilled. My original
one was a monster and I might have to drill that
baby up.

If you can't beat em on the alley, beat em
in the alley !

To those that have access to a new one I wouldn't hesitate to punch it out. It is by far Storms best ball since their Original Eraser. Storms Accutread Pearl is in my opinion the best Reactive Pearl cover on the market. They made a huge mistake with their Monsoon cover...it's garbage.
I have mine drilled pin over ring, cg kicked out 1" from center with RAD at 5 o'clock.
My ball is a 3" pin and 3oz. top weight.
Smooth up front, good read in the mid with a strong finish. By far the most forgiving ball in my bag.
