anyone else have problems with special agent?
« on: February 17, 2007, 11:57:41 PM »
ive put about 45 games on this ball and i am not comfortable at all with its reaction hence not being able to put strikes together with it. i cant get the ball to do the same thing twice something which i can do well with my YEAH BABY!

im confused and losing faith in this ball. i would sell it and use the money + little of my own to get a new one but over here in england prices are so outrageous its hard to get balls moved around quickly because of the costs. for example this ball set me back 180 pounds ($350) ish.

so anyone else have problems?

it's probably burning up in light oil..hit it with some polish or hit it with 4000 abralon pads to smooth out the reaction.

The ball is awesome on the right condition if you play with it on drier condition then like the other guys said it will burn up.

Its like dlenart said i don't use it much also but when there is nice volume of oil out there then this baby is what you need and trust me you'll put some strikes together.  When the ball hits the pins you can't compare it with the THE YEAH BABY

I absolutely love my Special Agent on our house pattern. It is the smoothest reacting ball I have ever thrown that will still kick out the corners.

What I have found, however, is that I need to hit the coverstock with a 2000 grit pad every 10 games to keep the reaction fresh and smooth like I want. If I allow the ball to gloss up it'll get unpredictable and erratic.

Just a great ball that needs a little extra maintenance....

ahhh that may be useful because it really has become erratic to the point that i have no ideam where to bowl it.

but i am bowling on heavy volumes of oil in the next 3 weeks so ill see whether it will be better then.
