Heavy oil ball
« on: August 01, 2004, 06:03:37 AM »
Would like to get a ball for heavy oil. Already have an x factor set up for drier conditions and a reloaded that works well in medium. Am considering either the xxx extreme, fear factor or the deuce (since they can be had for good price). Would not mind paying the extra for the xxx or the FF if they will work better.Am concerned about the longevity of the FF.  Throw med speed, med rev, left handed. Usual line is from just left of center to between 1 and 2nd arrow. Thanks.

Yes a friend of mine who has the fear factor, has a lot of hand and it hooked like a beast for a month, maybe a little longer, then pooped out on him. I'd go with the Triple Xtreme. I've thrown it a few times, and its a really nice ball, and it MOVES! For true heavy oil you may need to dull it a little though, just my opinion though.
