If you would polish this ball up alittle bit would it still want to hook early?  I know not as early as nib.  I mean will the core still want to make it earlly I guess.

I am currently considering purchasing the Vertigo because I don't have a good heavy oil ball.  Has any one tried this ball at ABC yet?  Is it too strong or over under for the ABC condition?

To give you a better idea of my roll, here is some information:
My axis is 3/4 up and 4" over, 16.5 mph ball speed, and higher revs.  I'm currently averaging 220+ in three leagues , at three different houses (one wood, one old synthetic, one brand new Brunswick Anvilane exactly as at ABC).  I mostly use a Pearl Blade with CG kicked right of center palm and pin directly 3" above CG.  

On most house league patterns I usually play between 3rd and 4th arrow, swung out to 8-10 board with success.  

HOWEVER, recently I have been in some heavily oiled tournanments and obviously my Peal Blade just skids too far even when I try to play up the boards and I would like a ball to open the lane up for me in these type of conditions.  Last year a purchased a Big Blue Hammer, it has a nice roll I find it to be more of a medium oil ball than a heavy oil ball.  It just doesn't have the flip like I am looking for.

Anyway, based on this if I had a Vertigo drilled up similarly to the Pearl Blade how do you think it would react?  I am looking for it to react on heavy oil similarly to how the Pearl Blade reacts on my league house patterns.

My VIP ball came with a 2" pin and I put the pin under my fingers on the grip center the cg falls approx. 3/4" to the right of grip center on the midline and the rad is 2" right of center line. No weight hole needed. I left ball out of box surface and this ball flat out revs up and hooks. Best look I have ever had in a masterline ball. This ball kinda reminds me of a solid thunder road on steroids. This ball does well for me on heavy medium and long patterns. Ball really shines on carrydown. Going to drill me 2 more and polish them. More on this later.  
This is a post I did on my vertigo and believe me it does roll quicker and stronger than the extreme ever thought of. First night of league on a 41 ft house pattern with slight carrydown I shot 783. I really love the way this ball rolls. More info to come.

i jsut drilled mine up liek i said before, 4 1/2 pin to pap above the fingers, RAD on VAL, hope i liek it.

Also drilled the TEAM STORM spare ball up, along with a super charge and hot rod. Got the Hot Rod and 2 Super Charges from my lefty buddie for 40 bucks, Ganna drill the Super charge 4 by 3 3/8 with polish for my med oil ball. Hot rod will be 5 1/2 pin rod dry.
