Xfactor Deuce Vs Shock Trauma?
« on: August 26, 2003, 08:30:41 AM »
Hi:

I am getting a Shock Trauma and already have the Deuce. I am wondering will the shock be able to handle more oil than the deuce? Also how is the backend and movement differ from each other? Any info would be really great?

Thanks, Craig

I have a Duece and an old El Nino Gold.  The Shock Trauma is literally a "new" El Nino Gold with a new name.  Take this for what it's worth...

The Duece rolls much early than the Gold, but the Gold definitely has a harder backend.  Both balls hit very hard but the Duece seems to hit slightly harder.  The Duece will also leave you some of the wackiest splits you will see off of flush pocket hits.  I can't explain it, but I hope you get the idea.  You are more likely to leave a solid eight or nine pin with the Gold.  The Gold, in my opinion, is actually better.

I only say that because I am partial to the Gold.  I bowled my first 300 game with it.  LOL!

Thanks to all your replies. Hopefully the Shock Trauma will be a good asset to me. Will give it a go and see what happens from there.

Thanks, Craig
