I didn't care for mine very much, seemed to give me too much of an over-under reaction, and never found a line with it using it in a few different houses.  That being said, most opinions I have heard about it are very positive.  Sold it to a friend, and he seems to like it a lot.  My problem could have been the layout I used, or it just wasn't a good match for my game.  If you decide to do it, good luck with it.

I love mine too. Always the first ball out of my bag. Ball has a 2.5" Pin and drilled with Pin under RF and CG kicked out 1 3/4". Good length and very sharp hook on the backend.

I only use my Depth Charge for longer oil patterns.  It never works well on short patterns as it tends to overreact or go too long.  don't get me wrong its a great ball it just has its place.

Depth Charge is couple of feet longer than Inferno, revs up later but with more definite backend move.
Doesn't like carry down much. Handles touch less oil than Inferno and Triple X (for me) but it is more versatile.
Smoother and more controllable than X-Factor with more or less same overall hook.
Ignores transition and clears the heads well as long as there is not much carry down.
Earlier and smoother than recharge..

For me it's for medium-heavy with backends. With the 4X5 drilling on it, I've never come across with over under yet.

Hope this helps,
Burak
