vertigo
« on: March 25, 2005, 03:17:40 PM »
Im planning to get a vertigo and im wondering if its really as good as advertised. i am a stroker, and have had sucess with a super charge, and tripple x and was looking to a vertigo as my heavy oil ball, and i pretty much can play down and in standing on the 12th board and hitting my mark at about the 8th board. what i noticed is that on really heavy lane conditions, my super charge doesnt hook that much, by going to the vertigo would i see a whole lot of difference? and what is the sfa solid coverstock and how does it compare to the monsoon? And i would have to guess my ball speed is around 16mph, and i can say that i have decent amount of revs and my axis tilt would have to be somewhere between 35 to 45 degrees. hope this helps. thanks

let me start off by saying that this ball would work for you in heavy oil. Personally, i also an a stroker with 16.5 mph, and medium revs, and i am going to get one of these balls, and my friend has teh same stats as me, only he is a lefty. he uses his vertigo for heavy shots, adn wow this ball just keeps on going. Its going to hook on dry backends, and its going to hook on slopy backs. This ball just wants to hook. Also, make sure that if u buy this one, that weather you drill it stroong or not, the more head oil you have, the stronger the back end will be with this ball....also you can always sand it.
I dont know how to compare this cover to a monsoon cover, but i can tell you that this ball is amasing and the cover core combonitation are very good. Another A++ for storm.

Excellent ball for oil, I own two(1 w/pin above and 1 w/pin below fingers).
I too consider myself a stroker(check my profile to se how it compares to yours).
