Yet another arsenal question
« on: February 24, 2004, 11:16:55 PM »
I have just switched form 14# to 15 on the advice of you great people. I bought the triple X and that seems like a brilliant ball (I have not had much chance to throw it yet). I'm going to buy a ebonite maxim in peacock because it sort of matches the XXX and I was thinking a reloaded for heavy oil (we NEVER have flooded) and maybe the duce for in between. At the moment these are just ideas I only have the XXX in 15# so I'm going to need three balls more to fill my 4 ball roller. Any advice or recommendations would be a great help.

Many thanks , Alex

The XXX is drilled pin over ring and rad about an inch on the right of thumb storm layout 1 with rad in position B this is meant to go long and snap. So if I had the reloaded drilled aggressive would that be ok? and is that the super charge or power charge?

Is the fear factor ok for medium-heavy because it dont get much more oily than that where I bowl.

im a high rev player...to be honest, i find the mid range lines of storm to hit just as hard as the high end line.  the super charge, hot wire, and the x factor deuce would be good choices to look at, and i dont suggest 3 high end balls because they will most definitely overlap each other.  it wouldnt be worth the money or the space in your bag...try and mix it up a little so u can change your method of attack if one isnt working.  the hot wire, if drilled aggressive, will be a great ball over oil if u go fairly straight up the outside...the more hook u try to play over oil, the less accurate u will be.  its the score that counts - not the amount of hook ittakes to get to the pocket

AM not A CHICK OF BOWLING but I wanted to be in Manda's clique And why would I "saw" pins in half, THATS A WASTE OF PINS! I'd rather blow it over with my storm, and 21mph ball speed on dry shots.
