Title: your favourite storm ball!!

Hello. May i know which Storm ball(those that are currently on sale and not the retired ones; only the balls on the Products category on the Storm site) is your favourite and why?

I am thinking of getting a Storm ball and i just would like to know the popularities of the various Storm balls currently being sold in the market.

Well, I only own one current Storm ball, the green-yellow Tropical Storm. I love it. It provides outstanding bang for the buck. You can play up the boards with it if you like to stay behind the ball, or you can circle the lane if you have some hand and there is dry to be found. For the price, you can't beat it. They remind me of the Power Groove series: outstanding performance at an outstanding price.

Agent, it's just so versatile.  I can find a way to throw it on just about any condition.  Roll it and it's super smooth, spin it a little more and you get some skid/flip.

Nothing on the current site is a favorite of mine, but two retired balls...Depth Charge & Triple X are my all time Storm favorites.

From the Current line-up I would have to go with the Paradigm Domination.  I've thrown it in my two leagues now for about 4 weeks (24 games total) and have averaged 235 with it.  It allows me to play much deeper than normal and the carry is amazing.  

By the way shot 299/756 with it last night in league.  You wouldn't go wrong with anything in their line-up.

wow. the paradigm domination seems great! but it's really expensive haha. i mean for a 16-year-old bowler like me.

My favorite Storm ball and my all time favorite was the El Nino X-It.  I feel it is one of the greatest balls ever made and was used by many pros the year it came out.  Mine unfortunately got sliced in half by the pinsetter many years ago and got replaced by the Trauma ER by the bowling alley - which is a ball that doesn't come close to what the X-It was

None of the current equipment. But an all-time-favorite among all who still use it (3 players around here) is the Trauma. What a ball! Reads the lanes a bit earlier than the Reactor stuff, but has so much smooth movement on the back end and hit, it is impressive and still a top piece.

My Favorite all-time Storm is the Black Thunder, circa 1996.  My fav. current strom is the Thunder struck solid; which is just a black thunder with a reactor cover.

I don't throw Storm, but I saw a 14 year old score a 300 this past weekend with a Paradigm Passion. Good looking ball and reaction on the lanes.

Favorite storm ball has to be the PYRO that I am currently thorwing. Originally I bought this ball for medium lanes. But it seems to work well on anything that I encounter. In saying that, I have not thrown any other STORM ball that is out now. I used to have an El Nino and loved that ball as well. But the PYRO seems to hit the pocket nicer then any STORM ball that I have seen thrown.

But, Maybe those people did not match up well with the one they were throwing. Who knows, Maybe STORM matches up to my game better. JMHO...

From the curent balls that storm has out i would have to say my favorite would be the diablo but my favortie all time woudl have to be the hot rod hybrid

My favorite Strom I have ever thrown was a Trifecta. Not a true oiler IMO but, handled medium/heavy nicely. It had a good continous backend and it was one of the very few Stroms I would not call squirty.

The Pyro was great while it "lasted". I am going to leave it there.
