Just looking for some comparison and feedback from anyone who has thrown them both.

Hyper Cell has a stronger core and cover. Zero in my perspective fits under the Hyper when it becomes to much ball

I agree. Hyper Cell is a true heavy oil ball. Zero Gravity is a strong medium to heavy oil ball.  Would be good combo.  If you only bowl house patterns,  you will get more play with the ZG.  Both great balls for their intended purpose.

Man...I need a ZG now.  My hyper can be used for all 3 sometimes...but the zero would be a nice fit because I usually ball down from my hyper to my VR solid.

Hyper
Zero
VR solid (hyroad solid soon?)

I'll be unbeatable on da china! Synthetic China that is!
In the bag [Infinite Physix, Volatility Torque, Night Road, Phaze III, Burner Solid, Hustle AU]
*Now Testing* IQ Ruby, Renevant, another IQ Tour solid
Coming soon...???

Hyper is a lot of earlier hook than the zero. I can't throw my hyper out if the box on my house condition, but the zero I can.

Wait til we get to compare it to the new critical theory (roto grip sinister)

I need a ball that will get to the head pin when there is oil.  I have a Zero, but I could not consistently get it to face the pocket.  On a THS it works great.  I have been told it's not the amount of hand I put in the ball but the amount of 'tilt' I apparently don't have.  I saw a lot of people scoring well with the Hyper at Nationals.  I also have an IQ Tour Fusion.  Is the Hyper something I should add?

Shameless thread jack! LOL JK.
Yes Hyper is a great ball for heavy oil.  I would also suggest the Marvel-S(my personal choice) and some have had great success with the Sync as well.

I have a lot of tilt as well.  Basically this means when you release the ball, the initial axis tilt of the ball isn't 100% horizontal.  Kind of like how planet Earth has a 24 degree tilt, bowlers can have some tilt with their initial roll.

That said, I tend to prefer balls with more surface and lower RGs.  Also, differentials lower than 0.050 are best for me...anything more makes the ball really uneven and inconsistent.

Before you buy a Hyper Cell, try your Zero G at 2000 or even 1000 - you'd be surprised just how aggressive that ball gets :)

I think you misunderstood him.  He said he doesn't have a lot of tilt.  I also assume he wants to keep his ZG as is because he said it worked for him on THS.

Yes, apparently I don't have enough tilt.  Keeping my Zero for sure.  Had it at 1,000 at Nationals.  Maybe I just throw it too hard-though I don't try.  I'm 6'5" with long arms-physics takes over and it goes fast...

I would highly recommend the HC to 700 virgin. Best true heavy oil ball I have used in a long time. Sounds like our styles may be similar, and the HC has worked well for me over the past month at two events I bowled. Also have and like ZG but does not compare for me in oil.
