I drilled a 607Ase with 55 x 5 1/2 x 45 so in other words the pin above fingers with mass bias slightly kicked to the right of the thumb. One phrase discribes this ball.... The ball recovers!!!! Great backend motion. The onlt time this ball does not play well is when you throw it right into the dry. This ball will help even the low rev players open up a lane!

Was given one of these to try out recently, must say that it is one of my favorites on House conditions. Layout was 5¼ x 4¼ @ 70 degrees, pin High. Puts the pin above my bridge by 1 inch and Mass Bias near and even with my Thumb. Anyway what I am seeing with this one is effortless length and a strong/quick response to Friction. Great league ball for people with good rev rates who like to send it right and bend it. With stronger/pin down layouts the ball will be earlier and smoother but still very responsive to friction with the coverstock in OOB condition. Remember this is a Low-RG Ball and it does get rolling... the cover provides excellent length and the core provides a very strong continuation. Have received alot of compliments on how it looks going down the lane. Try one today!

When TRACK came out with the 607A and posted that it was designed for the typical house shot, I heard alot of sceptics out there.  I sure would like to hear from them now.  I know for the ones in my area of the country, they have either put one in their hands or they wish that they could.  TRACK simply covered this ball as it seemed fit and it is exceptional on the house shot.  The 607A will fit in anyones game from the tweener to the cranker.  I have seen this ball used from all angles of the lanes and the motion is similar for all players.  The ball is sneaky long and clean through the heads and has great recovery and power off the friction.  My first one is drilled per specs off the TRACK ball layout design sheet (layout #2). Nothing fancy. I left the cover OOB condition and I haven't touched it with any polish since, only cleaner after leagues. I can't say enough about the 607A, except I can't wait to drill my next one.

I LOOOOOOOOOOVE my 607A! Right now I have two drilled up, both pin up but ones is 6"inches from my pap and the other is around 5"inches... I cant get enough of these balls. The roll amazing on anything but real dry and of course the real oily conditions. Alot of people are going to hate these balls because their box surface doesnt do them justice. 75% of bowlers I think will indeed have to hit there 607A with some surface, and then repolish it or whatnot because they are so hit or miss off the dry.

   This ball though is not intended for oil and alot of people dont take that into consideration. This thing hates oil and I really mean that. I think even with the stronger layouts that this thing will still be to hard off the spot. When the conditions is right, you wont match up any better than with this ball. Also has some great arse COLORS... Bottom line? GREAT BALL!!!!!!!! John

Drilling: 5" pin to pap under bridge, 45* cg kick with 3/4" hole on pap, MB about 2" right of thumb.

Surface prep:4000 abralon, no polish.

After watching a few locals in my area throw this thing i had to get one. One thing i noticed was the easy length it got on THS, so i opted to go to 4000 abralon to neutralize some of the over/under i saw from others using this ball.

Initial impressions: Even at 4000 and no polish this ball still gets plenty of length, and a nice long backend motion. The ball reads the lanes easily, and is gonna be the first ball out of my bag on most THS's at the moment. This ball for me takes hand adjustments really well, and when i have to move say 3-2 or more left when i have to adjust it really gives me confidence that the ball will finish, where other pieces in my arsenal may labor with those moves.


This ball for me is one of those rare balls that i can stay with for a whole 3 game set. Carry is great, and i can play multiple areas with this one ball using simple hand/speed adjustments. This is my first Track piece in over 8 years, so far im satisfied. I think this ball will be good for most any style bowler as long as they tune the cover to suit their ball speed. I can see those with higher ball speeds struggle with this piece is the surface isnt right for them.

Taking your lunch money, one strike at a time....

Have been a speed dominant bowler for many years, but the speed seems to have diminished somewhat (average speed down from approx. 17-19 mph to about 15-17)and with skimpy oil on the lanes recently, I saw a need to fill a gap in my arsenal between the more aggressive stuff (Hammer Raw Anger, Storm Virtual Gravity, Storm Xtreme, etc.) and plastic.  So far Track's 607A SE seems to be the answer.

Despite being an experienced bowler, I don't use a lot of the technical terms, but will describe as best I can:

Am right-handed, and ball is drilled pin up (just over the ring finger). Oob finish, 15 lbs, and is a standard drilling (not Sarge Easter, Rico. etc.).

Wanted something similar to my Columbia Bedlam, which this is, but it goes longer and comes back harder.  Part of that could be the ball being newer, however I bowled 28 games with it last night (yes...  in one night--- a record in excess even for me!), and although the lanes were completely burnt at the end, this ball still got far enough down the lane for a good entry angle and then snapped into the pocket with authority (except at times when the operator got lazy and eased up a bit on the speed**).

**Only caution would be that it hits so hard sometimes that it doesn't mix enough and leaves splits (a few 4-9's).  But this was more of a problem in the first 3 or 4 games after which I learned to trust exactly when and where it's break point would occur.

My first Track ball ever, and I love it!
