COMMENTS

Likes: The Track Proof is an outstanding solid! It is earlier than a Hammer Redemption Solid and has a ridiculous amount of motion throughout the lane. Those that like to throw it harder with or without hand, this ball is your absolute best choice. If you throw it a touch slower and like to hook the ball, you won't be unhappy. This ball allows you to be in every part of the lane that you're most comfortable playing. Very Legion Solid like. This too would be an excellent choice for the USBC nationals. Well worth the money!!

Dislikes: Only dislikes I have is for my style and lane surface we bowl on here in Rockford is I need to ball down quick when using on a house shot. We have HPL's and the surface hooks a lot to begin with.

LANE CONDITION

Length:  42" THS and recently PBA Wolf 32'

Volume:  25ml to 29ml

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc):THS and recently PBA Wolf 32'

COMMENTS

Likes:The Proof is exactly as advertised.  Good Strong predictable reaction.  I put a mild pattern on this one to give me a better look on a wet/dry THS, but tried it last night on the PBA Wolf 33' foot pattern.  This ball does not jump of the end of the pattern even though the shell is pretty strong.  Good readable movement at the hook point and continuation through the pins.  Had to ball down as the shot broke down, but carry was good and stored plenty of energy even on the short pattern!  THS reaction is just what I wanted, reads the midlane well with a great motion towards the pocket off the spot.  Likely a benchmark ball to get a read on length and width of pattern.  Recommendation - Add this to your opening arsenal!

Dislikes:  Haven't id'd any dislikes with the Proof.   Gonna be one the first out of the bag to get a read on the pattern.

Late posting only because our state is not open for bowling.
This ball for me is very smooth ,layout is 45x4.3/4 x30, my ball speed in 15.3 with rev rate being 389. Looking forward to using this on Mark Roth pattern (42ft). Read other reviews which same this is for medium to heavy.

COMMENTS

Likes: I'm a stroker and I drilled the pin up above my ring finger 4 3/4 from the axis. Strong early reaction.....surface really grips the lane....even with a medium rg.  Intermediate differential of 20 along with the surface gives this ball a lot of flare and hook potential.  Loved how this ball carried the pins as the surface blended out the fresh pattern very well.  Played 10 at the arrows out to the 5 with no problem bringing it back.

LANE CONDITION

Length: 41

Volume:

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): League

COMMENTS

Likes: If you are looking for a medium-heavy oil ball, you have found it. This asymmetrical gem offers great mid-lane movement with a continuous and impressive power through the pins. The first night I threw this ball I averaged just over 235, the pins simply had no chance. When we saw transition occurring on the lane and others were switching balls, I was able to move left and still carry the corners.

Track Proof Solid

Pin Length: 3 inch Pin

Ball Weight: 15lb

Layout: 40 x 3 1/2" x 30

BOWLER STYLE: Power Tweener

Rev Rate: 380-410

Ball Speed: 16-17mph

PAP/Track: 4">, 1" up

SURFACE PREP: OOB

Grit: N/A

Type: (Matte, Polish, Sanded): Sanded

LANE CONDITION: THS

Length: 42ft

Volume:Medium, heavy

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): THS

BALL REACTION : Scale of 1-10 ( 10 being the most )

Length: 7.5

Back End: 8

Total Hook: 9

Breakpoint Shape: Continous Arc

COMMENTS:

The Track Proof is a great choice for heavier volumes and those who need more overall hook. The Prime Response cover really is the best of both worlds in that its clean up front yet strong enough to handle heavier oils.

The overall reaction shape reminds me of the Tour edition balls like the Web series from Hammer, just in an asymmetric ball. I love the downline continuation from an upper end ball, with my style a lot of the bigger cores and stronger covers don't allow to stay in them longer than a game or 2 in my leagues. The Proof is clean enough up front, and shapes enough downlane to stay in it 3 gms if I need to.

I think the Proof solid will be a great ball for those looking for more hook, those with lower rev rates, and folks whose centers put out decent volumes of oil. This is just a great ball overall, and useable for most all style of bowlers!

This proof is a lot of ball for your buck.  My pin down layout really smooths out the entire reaction.  I get a great midlane roll and plenty of backend reaction to make anyone happy.  Straight out of the box and a great reaction with no surface changes needed.  It was instantly a favorite of mine because of the motion this ball shows on the lanes.
