Description:  Track has created the Legion bowling ball to empower its legion of bowlers.  This ball features the LT-2 core which has a medium RG to produce strong revs for the length of the lane.  This core helps conserve the ball's energy for the breakpoint which gives it a powerful entry angle to the pocket.  The Legion is covered with the proven MR-6 Hybrid coverstock which offers a strong mid-lane roll with fierce move at the breakpoint when used on medium oil conditions.

Length:40ft

Volume:20-25mL

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc):USBC white pattern on Brunswick Anvilane

I kept the Legion at box finish I will say when I rolled the Legion and watched it go down the lane I was not sure what shape I would see, the reaction that I saw was smooth not extremely sharp off the dry spot for me.  I was standing 18 looking at 10 at the arrows and the ball wouldn’t stay on the right side of the head pin.  I moved between 5-10 boards left targeting 10 at the arrows and now I was able to see the Legion work really well.  I also got the Legion in the oil to early a couple times and it still roll into the 1-3 pocket without a problem and finished.  The Legion is a good ball for those medium, medium volume patterns the heavier volume the reaction might be their however I think too much oil for the Legion is not going to show off its true talent.  I had a couple shots I got the Legion to far right and the movement to the pocket was stronger and continuous, which tells me the for the reaction that I like to see I don’t want to get to the friction and or the dry to early.  The Legion can easily be that first ball out the bag reason being its readable reaction throughout the lane and the strong finish through the pins.

Comments
I drilled the Legion pin up and left it at box finish and plan on using this ball as a skid flip piece when the lanes start to transition.  This ball does not disappoint, the carry is great and the ball continues thru the pins very well.  Another great piece from Track.

Likes:   I drilled the Legion with the pin above the fingers at 12 0'clock, bumped the CG to the right with no weight hole, and kept the factory surface.   The Legion has fantastic length and recovery.  With an angular breakpoint and easy length, it is one of the best balls in my arsenal for getting inside when the heads start to go.

Dislikes:  Not a great ball for the puddle. I can't say that is a dislike since the ball is designed for medium oil.

The Legion has that desired reaction that all bowlers are looking for. This ball is very clean threw the front part of the lane and is very angular off the back part of the lane. This is the strongest ball off the spot that I have ever thrown.

Legion
Layout: 55° x 4 5/8" x 45°
Surface: OOB
First thoughts;
From what I was hearing this balls motion, reminded guys of the 607A SE. I will admit, upon hearing that. I was very upset because I hated the 607A SE, because it never matched to me. Yet to my suprise, this ball is the cleanest and most responsive and angular ball I have had and am able to use. To much more angle and it becomes the original Kinetic and I am unable to use it. This ball really made me say WOW! I honestly have not had this much joy in wanting to throw a ball in a very very long time.

Likes: The smooth reaction of this ball, but still has a nice strong backend finish to it. Adjusted the cover to 4000 grit and it rolls even better for me. perfect ball for medium lanes and sometimes it works great in transition. love the colors of the ball. my customers that owned the 607A wants this ball because they have same color scheme.

LANE CONDITION

Length: 41ft

Volume: Medium/High

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc):THS

COMMENTS

Likes: I like how clean this ball is through the fronts. Shape was ok. Worked great when the hates were a bit fried.

Dislikes: Very squirrelly for me. It would clear the heads but I never really knew what I was going to get on the back end. I would either get Sharp back ends or it would lay off. Very jumpy off the dry. It seams like a ball that needs fresh back ends. My thinking is knock off the shine and see if that takes that over under away for me.

LANE CONDITION

Length:39-42ft

Volume:

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc):THS, WTBA Athens

COMMENTS

Likes:Extremely versatile ball for me, I took the surface down to 2000 grit to smooth the reaction and have been able to throw it on 3 different house patterns and WTBA Athens pattern. Layout has my pin 6" off the PAP and the mass bias 4" off of my PAP. This puts the cg right in the center of me palm. This ball is very clean through the front of the lane and make a smooth arc through the midlane with excellent continuation through the pins. My ball speed is around 17.5 and rev rate is above average.

Dislikes:Over-under with box finish, the ball stored so much energy down lane that I would either find myself too deep to carry or throwing it through the breakpoint because I was trying to change the roll.

I was very excited to see this core come back. I loved it in the 811A and 811c/t. With that said I have to be honest. I drilled up two of these and I could never match up, even with surface changes. The cover is the same as the Mx10, which was another ball I didn't match well. For me it was very over under. Sometimes it would pick up early or squirt through the breakpoint. It does have a heavy roll in the mids. For those that liked the Mx10 and matched up well with it, then this will be a great piece for you
