Have this ball drilled 4x2 w/weight hole on my PAP.

This ball has a real smooth arc to it and it hits much harder than I thought it would considering what a friend of mine told me it would do.  It is very controllable depending on certain conditions.  This ball needs head oil otherwise it will not do it's job.  On carrydown, it's an ok ball, but just doesn't kick those corners or those 8 pins for me.

If there is a clean backend and some head oil, this is the first ball I look to.  Just a great ball for that type of condition.

Overall.....it's still a pretty good ball from track (although it is a little old, it still does a great job).

This ball was terrible for me. 15 lbs w/my favoite drilling, got it polished before i threw it, threw it, and had it hook about 3 boards. couldn't get it to move or flip, so sanded it, it then hooked about 5 boards. I worked with that and got it to the pocket, and when it got there it hit like a big ball of fluff. Left about 4 8-10s and 2 5-7s in 1 game. Needless to say i got rid of this one fast, as i never found a lane where i could throw this with any high scores at all.
The pleasure has been yours.

After the first one i wasn't to thrilled about getting another, but at 5$ used, i couldn't say no. Again drilled w/my favorite drilling, this one at 16 lbs, also started out polished, i threw this one and wow. Rolls in the midlane, turns and drives threw the pins. Doesn't over react on dry, is terrific on med and isn't too bad on the wet. In the wet you're better off w/a stronger ball because this one tends to waste all its energy making the turn, and leaving nothing to hit with. Much much bettter than the other one I had, and is a great ball.

ok this ball is good for lanes that have the front oily and the back dry. the ball work good when polished. you can drill for maxium hook and i bet it will hit very hard to cause my ball isnt drill to maxium hook and i bowled 671 a week ago with it.

Very smooth transition ball. Bad choice for heavy oil and synthetics can be tough if you use this ball.  This was my first really good ball, and it was actually a hand me down from my brother.  It may have outlived its usefullness for him but it was absolute magic for me.  My primary league is on horribly dry wood lanes, and the Stomp Black Gold brought up my average from 165 to above 190, and I shot a 725 with it, a series I've come close to but still haven't beat.  To anyone who has or had a Stomp and liked it but feels that it's past its prime, I STRONGLY RECCOMMEND -- Circle Athletics  Hero.  Bought it 4 weeks ago and i shot a 719 on a friday night on medium oil with carrydown, and shot 706 the next morning on that terribly dry shot i mentioned before. $130 at http://www.bowlersparadise.com/shop/balls/circle/hero.shtml  , It will pay for itself.

Had this ball for 5 months and it is just unbelieveable on oil. Drilled pin under ring finger with cg kicked out. See pics in profile. Revs up like crazy. Had to polish with magic shine just for it to be used. Carry is true Track.
