I drilled both the Arsenal Angular and Arsenal Aggressive with the same layout: pin 4 1/2 inches from my PAP just under the ring finger.

These two balls compliment each other extremely well! I can start with the Aggresive model on freshly oiled lane conditions and I get a strong midlane reaction that still has enough energy to recover and hit the pins with lots of energy. As the lanes breakdown, I can switch to the Angular model and I get the extra length I need to keep the ball on line to the pocket.

This ball is very clean through the front part of the lane and has a very strong flip when it hits the backend of the lane. This ball has a little bit more length than my Xception and slightly less overall hook than the Xception.

Ball has 2" pin and three oz of top weight. I drilled it on a 5 1/2 by 4 1/2 pin under middle finger 1 3/4 inch above midline.

Ball is extreemly clean through the front twenty feet and picks up a good roll at about 30 feet. Ball has a very strong arch motion to the pocket at around 45 feet and hits very hard. I was very impressed with the hit and how low the pins stay. After throwing several games I became more impressed with how the ball didn't squirt in the oil and didn't wiggle in the carry down.

I say this ball is a couple of boards stronger than the Freakazoid with more backend reaction. I have used it three weeks of league and haven't shot under 730 with it. It is about three board weaker than the Aggressive and goes about 5-7 feet longer.

I bowl in a wood house with cooked heads. 38 Ft pattern with a buff to 42-ft. Wood lanes. Ball speed 18-19 mph. Med. revs. This arsenal has a 4-5 pin. Drilled it with the pin under the ring finger, which left my thumb ½" below the cg. So had to use 1 3/8 thumb slug to get out some of the top weight. And a weight hole 13/16 2.5 inches deep on my grip line. Ball is very clean through the fronts and lives up to its name angular and strong on the backend.  Good midlane read.   And if you thought the Freak a Zoid was strong this ball is 5 more boards stronger and harder on the break point.   Another great Track Mid Performance Plus ball. Remember bowlers when done bowling clean your equipment with Track Clean N Dull.

I drilled my Arsenal angular with the pin 3 3/8 from my axis and cg 4" from axis.I have to say that this ball was a surprise to me.It goes a little longer than my freak-a-zoid, but really wheels on the backend. This ball reacts very similar to the exception, just not quite as strong.I would say if somebody wants an exception motion with a cheaper price tag you can't go wrong the angular.

This is my first TRACK Ball in a long time (3 years). I never liked Track balls for some reason. I don't know why, but my proshop guy told me to get this... it's me. I just drilled up my Arsenal Angular 3 days ago. Out of the box finished. I'm a 185 average bowler and first 3 games, not very impressive. I bowled a 190, 183, and 153. I guess there's no track on it yet. Last night during league, it was very impressive.... first game 276, 2nd game 248, and 3rd game, 278. I shot my first 802 series. WOW what a ball. Goes really long and has a screaming backend. I felt in love with this BALL and it's going to stay in my bag for awhile... Good job with the ball TRACK!!!

I picked this beauty up used from Dave300. The ball is 15 lb and was fully plugged when I received it.

Drilled it pin right of ring, cg stacked below, weight hole on PAP. Basically a stacked leverage drill.

First shot, THS, oiled 5 to 5, medium volume, buffed to 40' with stripped backends. This ball is meant to open up the lanes and it does just that. I was standing on 27 hitting 18 at the arrows out to 10 and the ball just flew back. I have never seen this much ANGULARITY out of a particle ball before. It really flies off of the dry and drives through the pins. So far so good...

Second shot, broken down THS, same shot as above with some carrydown. I knew I wasnt going to be able to open up the lanes like I did on the fresh shot, so I moved right. Stood on 23 hitting 12 at the arrows out to 6 and the ball mellowed out but still made the corner. It revved up early enough to make it back to the pocket and drive through the pins. Very pleased with this ball.

On a side note, I was using this ball practicing the other day when the new synthetics had just been installed. I didnt really know what to expect. Nonetheless, the lanes played a bit heavier than usual due to the new surface. I squared up, changed hand positions and played this ball 11 to 8 and had a nice arcing reaction. I was in the pocket while everyone else struggled.

All in all, another nice piece from Track. Very angular for a particle. Definately not a control ball, but a good ball to open the lanes up with. Plus it hits pretty well too, keeps the pins low and drives through them. I might stock up on this one!!

Track Arsenal Angular
Weight: 15#
Pin: 1"
Top Weight: N/A

Layout:
With the pin placement so close we could only get away with a 4 1/2" Pin Below the Ring Finger.

First Impressions:
I was very skeptical of this ball at first because of my experiences with particle pearls like the X-Ception 5.0 and Hex-Plosion; however, the Arsenal Angular has really been great to me. I got this ball because my EPX-T1 died out after 50 games, after talking to my pro shop guy about what we could do I was told that I could select any Columbia based bowling ball. Of course Track is a division of Columbia and Track has been giving me great scores since I started back using the equipment. I looked at my options and decided on the Arsenal Angular because I had never thrown it before, plus I wanted to see how it compared to my Reactive and Aggressive.

Compared to the Arsenal Reactive:
The Reactive has the Angular beat in overall hook ability. It is much more aggressive even with its Reactive coverstock. Powerpunch Reactive has got the PEAK Particle pearl beat in this case; although, the Angular does have its advantages over the Reactive. I can play a more direct angle to the pocket and have no problem wondering about whether or not it will over/under which is a total shock because that is the number one problem I have had with Particle Pearl coverstocks. The Angular is very direct but very sharp in changing direction once it touches dry, whereas the Reactive jumps boards quicker in the heads and reads sooner.

Compared to the Arsenal Aggressive:
Although I have not had my Aggressive in about 1/2 a year I can still make a good comparison of the two. Aggressive hooks more by far and had a smoother entry angle to the pocket. The Angular is much more snappy and flippy, thus the name Angular. Pretty simple differences between the two as the characteristics were changed between the two to achieve different reactions.

Conclusion:
This is by far the best reacting Particle pearl I have ever thrown. Never have I seen such consistent reaction from one bowling ball. This ball is best played on direct angles. I have been able to swing it as long as my foot speed was steady. Very angular and very powerful indeed! Certainly glad I picked this one as my replacement for the EPX-T1! If you need a ball for more snap on the backend and long length then look no further than the Arsenal Angular!

Got this ball with the recommendation from Chuck Gardner while at a Track lesson given by Mike D'Ambrosio Coachs Corner in Rockville Centre. Laid out pin above ring finger with cg swung an inch out. Great length with a hockey stick reaction. I use this ball when me reactives track out and can't handle the carrydown. I love the way it revs up and crushes the pins. I must say this ball always stays in my bag and hope I can use it at the Nationals in Texas. Thanks Mike, Chuck and Jeff for the lesson.
Maybe I will try the Reactive next, hmmmm...9

I'm in a bit of a slump right now, so this might not be the best time to review this ball, but I'd bought one of these and a Machine and wanted to compare the two, so I went to the lanes today for an extended practice session.

Me: Righty, 16-18 mph speed, multiple axes of play, about 300-350 rev rate
The Ball: 15 pounds, Pin at 12:30 right of the ring, CG under the middle finger in the palm, box finish. Ball was an X-blem for low top weight (1.15 oz prior to drilling) and a color issue.

First, the good: The ball clears the heads better than the Machine, on virtually any oil pattern. I had the opportunity to test on multiple oil volumes. I had no problem getting this ball out.

There were a couple of negatives, however. First, it's a very condition-specific ball for me. It does not like oil volumes anywhere over medium. Second, I didn't get a very "angular" look for a ball that carries that word in its very name, and I had a real issue with off-pocket hits. Whereas my 14-pound Machine mixes the pins vigorously and carries off-pocket hits with more regularity, my 15-pound Arsenal Angular needed to be in the pocket or I wasn't going to get much. I had been warned to expect this from a driller.

I did not, though, have the problem I've heard others report who use this ball concerning its controlability. I found the ball easy to control and easy to point. I didn't see any over/under to speak of. The only "under" I got was condition-specific and consistent at that.

I was able to find something with this ball late in my session by taking most of my axis tilt out of it and going straighter up the back of the ball. I'll continue to work with it and see what I can get. I'm not ready to bench this ball yet by any means, but I don't think we know how to dance with each other properly just yet.

This is a great ball.Recently had my doubts about this ball cuz it wasnt
rolling right but soon found out that it was operator error and not tha ball
in Sunday Night mix league pulled it out after my 177 game with My Solution Power Plus and had tha front 8 and in tha 9th frame left tha 2-4(again cause of operator error)came back wit a strike in tha nice and a stone 9 and converted tha spare to shoot 268 and follow it up with a 224.Angular is a great ball

Ball:
2" pin
3.5tw
15lbs 3oz

Drilled:
Pin lightly under right pushed out to the right:
.0..0.pin
.......
....x..
.......
.......
..0....

my Style:
versatile:
Crank it? no Prob
Stroke it... no prop

but now I play mor stroker like.

reaction:

goes long and turns hard ... definitvly goes longer than my Lane#1 Tsunami although both are rated similar by BTM with overallhook...

Ball is stronger than expected but also struggles if the lanes get too oily... Carrydown is ok if there's not too much of it.. othervise the ball skids too far and doesn't get the corner.... (pin too short)

Con:
a bit too flippy for me (imho) but depends on the drilllayout
doesn't like lots of oil or big carrydown condition (but it's not made for it, no?)
dry lanes and the ball will overreact!

Pro:

very strong reaction...

Good hit
I like the length

Just one advice:
don't srew around with the surface!
 Dulling will kill the reaction!
Polishing will give extralength and stronger backend but also loss of controll!

"I like it!" Ball! Very good!

Update.

Played the ball on an more oily spot with cleaner backends and WOW the ball worked like hell.
I had it polished to high gloss.

BUT: I also got me a lane with carrrydown (two days with open bowling and pre-oiling to keep the lanes oily... so I would like to say CARRYDOWN! HERE I COME!)

So I have to warn you out there... the ball tends to skid around too much and getting a good shot was very difficult.
I switched to a dulled Solid Particle ball (Carbide+) and that worked better.

Sumup:
The ball is strong in the backend as I wrote before and it can handle carrydown as long as it isn't too much.

And still my warning: Don't screw around with the surface.. I dulled it once and it killed the reaction totaly! keep it shiny and the ball cuts throu' the backend like a warm knife thru butter!

I got this ball used from a ballreivews member.  15#, about 4 1/2" pin.  Ball is an X-out.

Plugged and re-drilled the ball has the pin at about 2 o'clock maybe 5/8# off the center finger, with a weight hole about 1/2" below my PAP.

I really like this ball.

I'm somewhere between a tweener and a stroker, with not a lot of revs but with decent ball speed.  With some of my other balls that I've got recently ( machine, power machine for example ) I have to move up to slow the ball down to get a decent hook and then I have problems keeping the ball from rolling out.

With the Arsenal Angular, I move back and keep the ball nice and fast and don't worry - it makes it back.  The ball is quite a bit longer than the Arsenal Agressive, but pretty close to every bit as strong overall.  If you slow it down, it will hook as much as the Agressive will but keeps more of its energy till its near the pins.  It delivers a lot more punch at the pins, and even though its supposed to be a flip type ball, it doesn't lack for control.

If there were more oil, I'd probably put it away and go for the Agressive instead, but on light oil to medium oil where you're looking for length but want to keep the reaction nice and smooth this ball is a great choice.

I have a 14.5lb Arsenal Angular.  I bought it used off ebay and am totally impressed with this ball.  It hooks more that my epx t1 and that is saying something.  I bowl with a friend and between the two of us we have about 25 bowling balls and nothing compares to the hook that this one has.  It blew me away.  The pin action is pretty good too.  Id have to say the epx t1 out does it on this one, but still it hits pretty hard.  I would probably give this ball a 9/10.  It works on medium-heavy oil.

I bowl between 16-17mph with a lot of hand
