pin is between but inbetween the fingers with the cg kicked out.
With using IT, it need a Xhole by the thumb

COMMENTS
With the PARADOX PEARL it can play up the lanes more.
The pearl compare to the PARADOX goes bout a foot to foot and half longer down lane. However, i see bout 2 to 3 more hook potential out of the PEARL.

The Track Paradox Pearl is EXACTLY what you would expect – a ball that gets through the fronts cleaner than its predecessor – but has the same explosive roll through the pins.

The one I drilled up has a 2 ½” pin to CG with the pin placement up and just right of the ring finger. A small weight hole was needed. The original Paradox was advertised as being a strong ball on ALL parts of the lane – front, mid-lane and back-end. On a fresh 42’ modified house shot, I watched this ball sail clean through the front of the lane…so this ball definitely DOES NOT pick up as early as the original. However, the mid-lane roll and back-end motion are remarkably similar to the Paradox. Compared to my Red Legend Pearl, this ball is less skid-flip and much more explosive through the pins. The back-end motion is a high-powered arcing motion. The pearl coverstock is not a high-gloss finish and appears to be adaptable to surface changes, which will make this ball very versatile depending on your drilling.

Bottom Line: If you love your Paradox, then you’re really going to love the Paradox Pearl! For tournament play, it could keep you in the same part of the lane after the Paradox is playing too strong – or this could be your go-to ball for those tough medium-long patterns. Either way, this is a must-have ball for my tournament bag.

The follow up that everyone wanted to the Paradox.  For me the Paradox was just to strong on most patterns, especially anytime I would try to throw it in league.  The Paradox Pearl rolls just as amazingly as the Paradox does.  This ball is the definition of long and strong for me.  Good length through the heads with a pretty substantial amount of snap on the backs.  I have this ball a good 2-3 boards stronger than my Ebonite Warrior.  Expect to see this ball a lot on TV because it is that good.  It lives up to the hype of the first Paradox.  If you are looking for a high end pearl ball to add to your arsenal, this is the best choice you could make.

Likes:  Paradox Pearl (Box surface) – Pin above ring finger CG kicked out a little no x-hole (positive axis point) is 4 3/8 right 1/2 up
Pattern was Fresh USBC White pattern 40ft at an AMF (Bowlmor) bowling center.
I bowled the first two games of the tournament with the Legion solid and as I saw the Legion solid go a little longer each shot I didn’t want to move and I didn’t want to go to the paradox or Swerve.  The ball the fit the best was the paradox pearl I was able to stand 25 looking at 15 at the arrows and without a problem the Paradox Pearl went through the pattern with ease and you could see the predictable movement from the end of the pattern toward the 1-3 pocket.  I was also very pleased with how I was able to keep the ball in the light 1-3 as well as flush and the carry was very good.  With switching lanes and using the Paradox Pearl the last two games.  I didn’t have to move and or guess from the time I picked it up until the last shot was rolled.

All I can say is WOW....... I absolutely LOVE my original Paradox so I just had to get this one in to my hands.

I have it drilled identical to my Paradox which is a higher pin above the ring finger, cg underneath, small weight hole.

As soon as I see the Paradox reading too strong in the backend I immediately change to the Paradox Pearl.  This allows me the similar motion, but not as strong which allows me to play the same basic part of the lane without having to change too much.

Too often I run in to trouble when I need to change balls and also make an angle adjustment - I have found that this ball compliments it nicely and my moves are minimal.

If you do NOT have the original Paradox, don't sweat it!  This ball is necessary in your arsenal if you are looking for a ball that's very clean through the fronts but strong, yet controllable in the backend.  I have found success with this ball during transition when they get to be a little tricky.

Likes: Never thought the Paradox could be even more aggressive, but it has been done with the Paradox Pearl. My ball speed is 17-18mph and i even have a hard time controlling it. This ball really does need oil, but i will say the continuation is still there.

Comments
I drilled the Paradox Pearl for when the lanes break down and I have to start moving left.  This ball reads the mid lane more than I expected.  I have added shine to the cover and now it is giving me the extra length I am looking for when the lanes dry up and the carry is exceptional.  I am going to be bringing this one to Reno for nationals in April.

I have the original Paradox and I like it but it has a different drilling (Pin just to the right of the ring finger normal I drill pin either under bridge or below the ring) then what I normally put on a ball so comparing these two is hard because of that. The Original Paradox for me seems to read pretty hard in the middle of the lane but still have a little jump on the back part of the lane. The pearl seems to read the middle of the lane and arch on the back end. Which works out great on shorter patterns or patterns where you need to keep the ball in front of you this ball will stay on target. I think of this ball as a good compliment to the Original. A good step or two down from the Original Paradox.

If I were to change anything on this ball it might be to put some polish on it. The only reason I would do that is if I were searching for some more pop on the back end. As I wrote above it does seem to arch more with it OOB.

One of the first balls out of my bag. Drilled a couple of these for league around my area due to the fact we have a couple wood houses and the rest synthetic. Both serve their purpose perfectly. This ball blends out the typical over under that comes with the typical house shot. The best part about this ball is the fact that even though its a high end ball and even with the old wood lanes we bowl on i can use this ball all 3 games of a league set. the ball continues to get down the lane and continues to turn the corner.
If you are looking for a stronger ball that you can throw throughout the entire night the paradox pearl is the ball for you.
