I have drilled three Track Stomps for league players in my centre and I have been amazed at the level of performance for the price especially its ability to cut through the carry down and give the weaker hands a much heavier reaction in the back end.  My only gripe about the ball is that I have not been able to get enough of them from the Australian distributor.  In short I would rate it as the oily lane performance bargain of the year.

I bought the Stomp a couple of weeks ago and had it drilled for dry lanes. Axis rotation 45°  PAP 5" X 4" which means pin is 1-1 1/2" above ring finger. For the purpose for which I drilled it it does a great job. You just have to get used to the 2'nd gear on this ball.  What I mean is that it has two break points: First one where it stops skidding and hooks. Second: about 4-5 feet later it goes into turbo mode. Once this ball is in the turbo mode it has no respect for the pins. So the trick is get this ball drilled exactly for the purpose intended(obviously) and then get used to its 2'nd gear. It will do the job. By the way I play staight up and in.

Hope it helps

At our shop we often try and point out the best 'bang for your buck' balls, this is one of those balls.  We drilled a stomp with the pin and c.g. 3 3/8 from the axis in a 'flip leverage' layout. (Moe Pinel)  We took the shell to 1500 and polished it with Finesse.  With this layout and shell we tested the ball on three conditions, synthetic lanes with 35 ft. of oil and dry backends, synthetics with a days worth of carrydown and the heads oiled and wood lanes that were walled up.  On the dry backends the ball hooked a bit soon, which really smoothed out the overall reaction.  The Stomp had quite a large flare, six to seven inches, which no doubt contributed to the early arc.  We felt that the Stomp wasn't bad on this shot but we didn't feel like we would be able to stay with it very long because the head oil wasn't heavy enough.  The synthetic lanes after they had carried down and the heads were oiled gave us a great shot.  The Stomp played well from the track all the way to the 22nd board.  The carry was very good and there was enough oil on the front part of the lane to keep it on line without any extra force.  On the walled up lanes (wood) the ball fought a brave fight but with too smooth a shell and too much polish, it wasn't able to handle all the oil.  With a shell change it was okay from the track but we were still unable to move into the oil.  Another thing we noticed during our testing was how much this ball's motion reminded us of the Columbia Rage but stronger.  We really liked this ball and again for the money it's as good as it gets.

I've reviewed the Stomp about 6 months ago. Since then it has served me fine. With over 300 games on this ball it still breaks very well and hits like a ton of bricks. A speed of 24Kmh is needed to get this ball to work properly anything under will also suffice. I think the high RG-Differential(0.65) is the essential working part on this ball. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 10.

A very pleased Stomp owner.

Hope this helps

Hello i have This Stomp drilled pin 5 inches from my P.A.P with the C.G. at 3 3/8 or as it is also known "label leverage" with a small hole on my axis point this ball gets great length and makes a hard move to the pocket "hockey stick" it handles a fair amount of oil

in the back ends. this is my goto ball when the lanes start to break down beacuse it can get the length i need even when the heads are drying up and makes a very hard but predictable flip

it reminds me of the "Primal Rage" only stronger

I give this ball a 8 out of 10 due to its verasatility

Lanes: Wood, Oiled about 38 Feet Christmas tree pattern with the last 5 boards thickly oiled.
Lanecondition: Med.Oil to dry.

Bowling style: Tweener but can play straight up or a deep swing line.
                       Fast speed, medium revolutions.

Ball: Stomp, redrilled 4" X 2" and sanded with 400-grit.

I've had this ball for almost 1 1/2 years and over 700 games and I'm very pleased with the results that I've been having with this ball. The Stomp is an excellent ball for Med.Oil to dry lanes. With the new drill pattern I can even bowl with it a little earlier and continue to use it until they're bone dry. I will not mention the different angles you can bowl with this because by the dry conditions a swing line works best and with a little oil a down and in works well, of course you must consider your own style.

If your looking for a ball for dry lanes or even med.oil even with me being a high speed player this is a steal.

This ball is a ball for me to use on a number of conditions.  I found that i can roll it not only on medium to medium-dry lanes, but also on some oily lanes shots.  I got this ball second hand for 20 bucks, and i shot 300 with it.  This ball has been very faithful to me.  It likes to be used for the helicopter strike shot, but you can practically do anything with this ball.
