Ball:
Pin 4 1/2 from PAP slightly above and right of ring finger, CG stacked below. I tried it with both the surface OOB and with light coat of Magic Shine.
Lane Conditions:
I have used the Solution PP on many different lane conditions and surfaces.
HOOK:
Heavy Oil- It is not quite enough for the heavier stuff, but not far off. With the OOB finish It would work pretty good, but I prefer particle on heavier patterns.
8.5 out of 10
Medium- This is where I intended to use this ball, but since the OOB finish is 900 grit I had to apply some Magic Shine and it worked like charm. This ball is just as great as the Slash to read a pattern. It doesn't overreact off of the dry and it doesn't sail in the oil.

light- Even with the Magic Shine I couldn't imagine being able to use this ball on a lighter pattern, that is why they made the Solution PP EX.

Total Hook:
With identical surfaces the Solution PP is an eyelash weaker than the Slash. It will handle the heavier side of mediums or lower side of heavy very well. Stay away from the extremes.....dry and floods and you will be fine!
8.5 out of 10
Control:
This ball sets itself aside here. Once again, it doesn't overreact off of dry and doesn't skid too far on oil.

Expected Reaction:
When I drilled this up I figured a dull ball with what usually tends to be a longer layout for me would work well. I was correct. With what I bowl on most of the time though I decided I needed a tad more length.
Impact:
The Solution PP hits hard, but not overly hard. This is a good thing because often times throwing a ball that hits too hard can result in back row leaves. It hits perfectly for a "benchmark" ball.
8 out of 10
Readability:
I really like this ball to read the lanes with. It falls exactly in the same "benchmark" slot that the Slash could. You see a nice smooth roll and it starts to transition as soon as it goes from heavy oil to buff and to dry.
9.5 out of 10
Strengths:
Reads a pattern very well! Tames down Over/Under. For a league bowler this ball is going to be all that you should need.
Weaknesses:
The Extremes! Floods and Deserts will not allow the Solution PP to do its job.
Placement:
I place this ball below the Arsenal Reactive and above the Heat in Track's current lineup.
Comments:
With the Solution Series you are going to be hard pressed to find better equipment for your dollar than either the Solution PP or SOlution PP EX. The Solution PP is a ball (along with the Slash) that tends to catch the eye of some of the fellas that had the Original Triton Elite!
