It just strikes! Introducing the Thrash, the latest addition to the Track arsenal. The Thrash is the perfect balance of length and backend. The modified "flare-Ring" core helps the Thrash navigate the front end of the lane while the WOW II Pearl coverstock provides enough traction to give the bowler a strong arcing backend reaction. Straighter players will find the strong backend of the Thrash very useful while the high rev player can take advantage of its extra length. Track didn't invent the art of striking they just made it easier.

absolute piece of crap.  you might as well sand the letter H out of the ball. so it just says trash.  This ball hits like you throw a ball of yarn at the pins.  I hope your a good spare shooter cause the most you can bowl any game is 190.  I want to throw this ball in the next river i come across, track should be ashamed of itself, they just wanted another new ball on the shelf, i wouldnt give this ball to my worst enemy....

After nearly a month of using this ball, I am ready to review it. My first (true) dive into the Track midpriced ball category.

Lanes--wood, oiled 43ft middle, outside heavy 29 ft buffed to 43ft.

Layout--pin 3 in from pap, cg about an inch from the midgrip on the midline, no weight hole needed. I kept the box surface on it.

the ball--I have to mention, first game out of the box 299. Missed outside and slowed down, I left a 9 pin. Gets great length, and has great hit. It does not react very hard off of the dry, which is what I wanted out of it. It is not a huge mover in overall hook, but it is very consistant. In my opinion, you are getting a top quality ball in the mid price range. If the oil starts to carrydown, or you are trying to use it on a shot that is just a little to much oil for the ball, it will let you know. 10 pins will stand no matter what you do. I have only had this happen in one game out of all of the games bowled.

Hey I throw a Thrash full roller also and damn this baby is wonderful. Being joke on me being a full roller because I take the play out of the game. When the thrash hits the pocket boom it hits hard. I love this ball.

Ok, here's my review on the Thrash.

Ball before drilling, 15lbs 3oz, 2" pin.

Drilled pin below ring, cg swung out 2" from grip center.

Bowling Conditions: First shift house shot, second shift house shot and a spotty light sport pattern.
 
Type of Lane: All wood

Did the ball track out? Slow

First shot: First shift house pattern. Med/Hvy oiled 5 to 5 stripped backends. Tried to play my usual line, stand on 25 over 15 out to 8, not happening with stripped backends. This ball flies off the dry. It is VERY angular off dry boards thus making it a bit difficult to control. I had to move my breakpoint about 3 boards right due to the angularity of the reaction off the dry. After that, the ball is great.

Second shot: Second shift house shot, same pattern as above except this time we have carrydown. This is what I bought the ball for and this is where it really shines. Control is the name of the game when there is carrydown. Play my fave line and its in the pocket all day. The reaction is mellowed out a bit from the carrydown, but it is still a very strong move to the pocket. Very good on carrydown.

Third shot: Spotty sport shot, light oil. Not a good pattern for this ball. This is not enough oil for this ball to get down the lane. It seems to rev up at the arrows and just roll out at the pins.

Conclusion: Very good ball for its designed purpose and what I bought it for. Very controllable strong arc on carrydown. The hit is very good, ball retains energy well to explode at the pins. This currently is my favorite Track ball. I give it a 9 out of 10, especially on its specified condition.

Me has and me loves. Me really does. I received the Thrash on the 15th of Feb and it became my favorite the same day. It is exactly what I have always wanted: it goes long, snaps hard, hits even harder and it looks really good too. It is also quite forgiving when compared to my other balls. Before this ball I was a fan of the Apex line ( own a Reflex and an Addiction) and I played more of an arc than an angle, but this ball changed it all. Recently shot my best series for 3 games: (233+249+247) 729. My average has been at least 187 from that time. The ball certainly does give a lot of strikes, so games like 211 or 227 are quite common but I just can`t seem to get all the strikes in a row but I guess that it is my problem and not the balls fault. So if you are looking for a versatile, hard hitting ball with great lenght and an amazing backend then this is the one you want. It is my first Track ball and my best ball so far so I`m really looking forward to buying an Animal or a Freak.
