Mean Machine and Equation Mini-Reviews
« on: August 09, 2006, 04:32:18 PM »
HEY FASTTRACKERS!

Thanks to ClintDaley for these two gems! Had them punched up tonight along with another regular Machine to go with the arsenal. I am just amazed and how these bad boys performed! Vids and Pics coming soon guys!

Mean Machine:
With the Pin Placement, CG, and Mass Bias in funny positions I thought this was a bad nightmare! That all calmed down once I threw it for the first time. Had it punched with about a 4 to 4 1/2" Pin Below the Ring Finger. The CG is the left of palm while the Mass Bias is kicked out to 5 o'clock strong! Guys, let me just say, I cannot believe how much this ball hooks. Considering the shot the house I bowl at has put out lately, I would have to go as far to even say this ball outhooks the Robo Rule! Shocking! Yes, I was too! I have a witness though, you can even ask my friend Kevin (Super BEAST Freak), it was very incredible. No weight hole was needed. I played as deep as 30 aiming at 17 and getting the ball out as far as the 9 board in the mids and just couldn't believe the devastation it left the pins in! First impressions are definitely good on this one fellas!

Equation:
Had this one drilled with a standard 4 1/2" to 5" Pin Above the Ring Finger, CG stable, a weight hole wasn't necessary either. I couldn't believe how great it read the midlane transistion and this ball has definite skid/snap qualities to it! Tons of pop on the backend, I am definitely impressed with this one. Patrick Allen is quoted on the Track site saying "What a Ball" about the Equation. This FASTTRACKER definitely has to agree. Kevin made the comment that this ball fit me the best considering the shot we were playing on tonight. It worked very well for me on carrydown. Track definitely has the Equation solved with this gem!

Machine:
Decided to go with a layout that provides me maximum arc and the Machine gave me what I wanted and more...Pin is at 1 o'clock to the ring finger and this one had to have a weight hole about 3 to 4 inches away from the ring finger and about 1/4 inch down (this is just an estimate), however this ball turned the corner really hard. The way these balls reacted for me tonight, I really felt like for this upcoming season I could take the Mean Machine, Machine, Equation, Desert Heat, and Flaming T Spare Ball and call it an arsenal!

Pics and vids coming very soon! Thank you for reading this review! God Bless You and have a great week! More details to come soon!
