Anyone throw a Temper or Tantrum in Reno? If so, what did you think?

The weaker stuff for me was not very good. Team Event I used a 930T pin up at 2000 and in dbls and singles I used 715C and 505C to play farther right in the burnt area. The middle had so much carrydown for us that the ball backed up 60 feet from left of 17. We followed some older guys throwing their balls down the middle and the track. Lots of carrydown in front of the pocket for us.

My friend told that Dave Wodka was using a 505C when he shot 795 in singles. I don't recall the details right now but if you have one bring it with you.

I had a good look with my 505C in dbls and single.
Used a 930T with 2000 in Team event played inside and had a good look.

I still need to punch out my 930T.  How do you have yours laid out as far the pin distance?

The one I used in the team event was a 5" pin up.

billy ray how deep were you in team event. our plan is to burn them up on the outside and gradually move in.

Hey All

Nationals was a treat. In Team we burned up 7,8 and moved in. I think we did it too quick because we created some early burn for the guys that tried to play up the lane. I threw a 920A with a VAL layout for the first two games. After a missed spare or two I changed to a 505C with the pin above my middle finger and dulled to 2000. I stayed with that ball for game 3 of team, then all of doubles and singles. I played around 20-12 and moved in slowly. If everyone plays the lanes fairly close, then they'll open right up.

We had 2 lefties on our team so we couldnt burn a spot, and really there is no need, if you use too much surface you do nothing but blow apart the heads and make it useless, and we were bowling with a team of guys that was spraying it all over so we werent going to be opening the lanes up. The guys on my team had a tough time getting the ball to the pocket consistently anyway so as always you have to be making shots and carrying.

I played 15 to 10 down the lane then creeped left as the lanes started to change. I never got left of 20 at the arrows.
