Title: 300/800 Perfection With An X-Ception
Post by: SteveAustin2808 on July 24, 2005, 10:53:37 AM
FASTTrackers,

Just wanted to drop a line to everybody out in the Track forum to tell everybody that I finally achieved my first 800 series. I was in the 11th frame classic tournament and had the games of 279, 300, and 221 for 800 series on the dot! I thought it wasn't sanctioned until they brought the papers to me to fill out...anyways, it was with my original X-Ception...drilled 3 3/8 Stacked Leverage with a weight hole...threw 27 strikes in a row with it, the most strikes I've ever put together...funny thing I missed a 10 pin in the first game and after that, I was unconscious! Anyways, just wanted to post this to tell how my success was throwing Track and how I'm glad I went back to throwing great equipment! I also want to thank everybody on here that posts in my thread giving me all the advice to help me excel in this sport! Thanks and God Bless You All!

LOL,

this is funny...allow me to just state that yes, my name is Michael although some of you may see my name as Steve. The whole thing revolves around Stone Cold Steve Austin. One of my heroes per say. Anyways, that is where my BR user name comes from. I appreciate all the sentiments guys. This was indeed an accomplishment and I had to earn it, striking out in the tenth to hit it on the dot, to say I was nervous, would actually be an understatement. It is just a great feeling to shoot one. And to all that haven't...don't worry, I was in the same boat as you, I believed that it wasn't possible, but just have faith and it will come to you! GREAT BOWLING AND HIGH SCORES!!!

Gee Michael,

All this time I thought you were the SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN. (LOL)  But seriously, this is good news as I am in the process of trading for an exception. I've been looking at track for a while, and with "B" leaving the country, it is a good reason to look harder.

 Great bowling.

Michael,

Nice shooting, to shoot a 300 and 800 in the same set is what I always said I would hang them up...

Not yet...

No wonder.  The ball had a weight hole.  Heck, anyone can shoot 800 with a ball with a weight hole.

Good job.  I can't break 600.

I actually had a question for all the actual Track staffers...maybe clint, carl, and rick would actually know this for a fact or not...since I did accomplish these two scores, does it get me on Track's web site under the "success stories column" or not? Just wondering...if anyone can help with this question, that would be great..thanks again and God Bless!

Yes, all you have to do is send them a message telling  them what you shot and what ball. I am not a Track staffer, but did win the Indiana state senior class (e)using a Rule this past april.
