400a se vs eruption pro
« on: November 12, 2013, 12:43:22 PM »
Anyone thrown both? How do they compare? They look like they're pretty similar based on what I've seen, but I'm looking for some first hand responses. Thanks!

My teammate has both, and has rolled with both it is very hard to compare the two.  I would say they complement each other (depending on how you get them drilled and the way you roll the ball) for my teammate high speed high rev bowler (both drilled the same).  The Pro and 400aSE are very smooth through the front were the two differ are the backend movement.  The 400aSE is angular (not a flip responses to friction quicker) were the Pro is still smooth (responses to friction a little later).   If you have the funds getting both would not be a bad idea, if you had to choose I will say please go with your game and what shape you like from the ball.

The ideal complement to the 400aSE is the 706c/a that is just my 2 cents.

Thanks Ron, that's the info I was looking for. I'm looking for something more angular so I'll probably go with the 400a se then. I'd like to get the 300c solid to complement it.

Not a problem at all, that sounds like a winning combo to me.  Bowl well
