I've gotten a few more games on it now, and I am incredibly pleased with it. I threw it on Saturday on a slightly heavier THS in a King of the Hill doubles tourney. Almost all the best bowlers from Rockford bowl in this thing weekly. I am usually slightly intimidated bowling with these guys, as I just don't put up numbers like they do week in and week out. I am starting to get the right feeling back when bowling, and I have begun to break out of a yearlong slump. Anyhow, at the tourney I was 2nd high individual with a 713 set, and our tandem was 3rd high qualifier with 1351. Normally there are numerous 7's shot during this thing, so it made me feel good to have bowled that much better than almost everyone else. It was also the first 7 I've had since last October. The 5.0 gave me a look that noone else had. I was able to play farther in with a nice easy stroke and carried everything that was in the pocket. Even the couple bad shots I threw recovered when no other ball I've ever had would. A few people came up to me and asked me what I was throwing because the reaction was awesome. FWIW, we lost our first game of match play by 18 sticks. I left a greek church in the 10, and my partner left a 5-7. I was p***ed at myself for letting it get away, but there's always this weekend. At least now I know I can hang with the big boys.
