503C....is this ball THAT good?

   Maybe....got one from another lefty on here.

 

The thing impressed me another bowler in my house so much....lots of push, lots of midlane, lots of smoothness lots of hit!

 

Not used to seeing this level of controllability with such a shiny 4000 coverstock!

 

Could it be the drilling....approximately 65 X 5 X 40

PS all of this from a core that looks a lot like my Vital Sign core which is drilled similar and moves nothing like this ball...

Guys I thank you for your answers.  Thanks to VBP Dustin..  I got both.!
 
John Davis I think I agree with you the 300T slightly earlier but with it's lower flare less recovery especially in carrydown for a similar drilling(first impression).
 
I am excited about getting the 300T drilled more specifically for me.!

Ball was so good I now have 716c and 811. All are very good.

Dropping mine off to get drilled today. I'm thinking that this will compliment my 607A quite nicely.

Do you 503C lovers think that this ball would compliment the 505T? Specs are very different as is the coverstock....I wonder if there is enough of a difference (505T vs 503C) to justify paying less money than you would for the 716C.?

505T and 503C definitely compliment each other. 505T is a dull solid that picks up really good in the midlane. 503C is a shiny pearl, that you can go to when the 505T is losing some hit. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Threw the 503C Thursday night the third game after our pair was totally trashed (not that it was in good shape to start with). I will say that it gave me a look on the dry that I haven't had in quite some time, I could hit the ball as hard as I wanted and it wouldn't overreact. I want to see if I can get it to start just a touch earlier by going over it with a 2000 pad, followed by a 4000 pad to see if it will make even that much better.
 
I'm very impressed with what Track has done and looking to add a couple more pieces to compliment both the 607A and 503C in the not so distant future.

Lefty, I am a huge track guy, and hopefully I can help you out. The 503 by design is to allow the player to stand closer to the friction with out it over reacting. I originally thought it would be good to use from in and throwing right on dryer patterns. Turns out this ball is better for being able to stand more right. Also, it's an under advertised fact that the cores in the 503 have magnetite. Can't wait for a 508a to drill and take some vids with.

As for the 300c compared to the 503c. The 300c is the only symmetric ball made by Track. It has a weaker core than any of the other Tack balls, and the amount of pearl will allow the ball to conserve energy and still hit the pocket hard when the lanes dry out. In my experience the 300c is a great Ball change. It is my dry lane ball after my cyclone hooks too much.

On the 300s, my question was really devoted to the 300T?

 

I have thrown it but drilled very weakly for my PAP.

 

Any more great ideas on it?

 +1......I couldn't have said it any better than that. Not to switch subjects, but what I've seen so far out of the 508A on film, I wonder if it's worth it to consider this piece because from going to my 607A to the 503C, it's about a 6 and 2 move right between the two pieces.
