505A question
« on: July 21, 2011, 04:06:17 AM »
Has anyone tried the 505A with a different surface?  For example, how would it react with a 4000 Abralon surface and no polish?

Thanks for the help.

Anytime you change the surface on ANY ball you bring the reaction closer to you, (hooks sooner) and generally you blend or smooth out the backend reaction.  That doesn't really mean you'll turn an "A" ball into a "C" ball but it will make it less flippy.  I keep my 505A at 1k.  Still a tad flippy but I can use it more often.
