505c Review and 300 game
« on: December 02, 2009, 08:05:05 AM »
Shot 300 with the 505c last night.  Just picked it up this past weekend.  Based on a recommendation from Chris Lamb I did a 75 x 6 x 70 drill which put the pin in my middle finger, cg just below my midline, and the mass bias just below the thumb.

This ball is exactly what it's advertised as, complete control.  I had a very smooth move off the breakpoint and I was playing out to 5 laying down around 7.  Just a very smooth tight line.  The house I bowl at is notorious for fried outsides and backends but even so I had control with this ball.

The carry wasn't necessarily exceptional, but I was able to control the breakpoint to adjust for any carry issues.

Bottom line, if you're looking for control, with a smooth move off the back end for tighter shots or burnt conditions, this is a great addition to your lineup!
