I have drilled 7 so far and the one thing that stands out is how controlled they are at the breakpoint. If I were to compare it to a ball I would say it is a little earlier than a Kinetic or pearle but smoother at the breakpoint. It does finish hard but not as sideways  as a Kinetic.

 At Tour trials I used one with the pin 5 by 4 and one 4 by 3 1/2 and just altered surfaces. They are so versatile that I used them on every pattern at tour trials. The 5 by 4 is clean in the front and has a hard arching motion on the back. The 4 by 3 1/2 is about 4 feet earlier at the breakpoint and has a smoother arching motion. It is about 3 boards stronger of overall hook.

I used the 5 inch pin at the end of cheeta, most of the block on chameleon,and the whole block of scorpion. The 4 inch pin I used on part of chameleon and most of the block of shark with a surface of 1000 dull. On shark it blended out the lane because the shape is so controlled and I led with only 50 over on a very difficult shark with it.

This ball is very good and I am very excited about using it on tour this year. Del Warren drilled one of his bowlers two of them at expo and he finished 3rd in the 3 game sweeper with 760 and won the 10 gamer right after it with them.

I'll have my full review with possibly a video post later this evening. Had to get a good amount of games put on it to get a verdict on the ball. What I can tell you that the 505C is a bada#$ ball and I know that I'll be using this one alot this coming season. I just wish that some bowlers will just look past the naming of the ball and just try it out, it's really that good.

Looking forward to the video.  From what I was able to see the 15 mins I got to throw it, it was a bit strong for what I was expecting.

That's exactly what I was thinking when I first threw the ball. But it is very controllable and predictable just like Track said it would be and it's not skid/flip this time. Heck, I was even messing around the other night throwing it two-handed for the first time and still hitting some good games with it.

Just punched mines up a couple of days ago and what a beauty. I had her drilled similar to yours w/ a 5 X 4 layout and a weighthole 1" above pap. It glides through the heads and arcs very agressively off the dry boards. I kept the cover oob and found that this piece does precisely as advertised, and with these(competative) lane conditions becoming more rigorous this ball's motion would be a great piece to add to one's arsenal.

I personally found the ball to be a bit stronger than expected.  This isn't a bad thing.  I did however take the ball to 4000 and Magic Shine.  I now have a nice lengthy control piece in the bag.  This ball in box finish will be fine for those with a little bit of speed.  For those with a little slower speed, take it to 4k and polish.  You'll like what you see.

The performance of this ball for the pricepoint is nothing short of incredible.  High performance with a mid-range price tag!  What more could you ask for?
