811A is going to be longer and have more of a defined backend motion compared to the 811C/T.  The 811C/T will start up a bit sooner, and be smoother downlane.  If your looking for something on medium-heavy oil on the fresh, the 811C/T is the money ball.  If you are looking for something to go to when the lanes dry up a bit, the 811A would be a good choice.

manke....are you looking to go with one or the other for any particular reason?  Are you looking for a new piece or possibly trying to fill a gap?  The versatility of the 811 C/T shouldn't be overlooked.  Schulz is right if you want length and a more angular look, go with the A.
