Thinking of getting either one, however the 716T is a little cheaper. Are these comparable to each other? How are the covers on 716T? This will be for USBC shot in BR.

Comparing different performance levels is always tough. You're trying to compare a high performance ball (nexus) to a mid upper ball (716T). They are both awesome balls. I know I know the Track Staffer is complimenting a Brunswick ball. I'm also a pro shop manager and they both sell well. I can say that you will be very happy with the 716T on how much performance you get with the price. You do though need to talk to your pro shop professional and see which one fits YOUR game better. You really aren't giving me enough information here to make an informed decision. To get the BEST choice someone needs to see you bowl. Thanks.

I'm not sure if you have bought your ball yet. But here is my opinion if it helps
From my experience with both, the 716t has more mid lane as well as down lane movement. The nexxus is cleaner through the heads, and better if you have a tendency to miss left of target bc it has a smoother backend. I have a nexxus video posted on my shops facebook and YouTube page, I am in the process of making a 716t video. Stay tuned and good luck.

I dont know your style, but either of the 2 balls you mentioned are way to strong for the BR shot.

My 2 best pieces are the 505t and 715t and I will get a 716T, but way to much ball.

I ended up using a 300T that the guys(KYLE) at the Ebonite booth recommended and drilled for me

I would look at a medium symetric.

You should look at something even arcing and predictable backends, not snappy

these are the ones I took

layout and surface will dictate what to use

there are other symetrics out there

Your house shot ball most likely will not work on this pattern

I really appreciate you throwing in the bit about where a bowler typically misses and how one ball would suit that miss over another. I wish more people would include it in their reviews and opinions.

Not a problem. I know that this is the type of stuff I think about. You can always be perfect. So a ball that creates the most area for your game is needed. Thanks Deadwood proshop, I'm still thinking between either ball, maybe going with a 716T and drilling it with a 5 to 5 1/2 to pap, mb near or on the val to mellow the backend? My stats are in my profile if you want to suggest something?

Dave81644 , I'm bringing a 300T with me, I love that ball. As well as a Karma pink/purple.

Lexius, your stats are almost identical to mine. I would reccomend either a pin up 3/4 to one inch above bridge with mass 1 inch right on vertical center grip. Or pin 3/8 up above middle finger with mass close to thumb. These will make the ball have more motion on the back rather than all mid.
