What has worked the best for those who have them?

I did not like the 607 much, 2 different drillings, many surfaces.

I am having good luck with a 5" pin-pap on several 505t and 715t

im worried that the 505a will be to skid/flippy for me.

4-3/4 - 1/4 up

fairly high track but can tilt it

16.5 mph at the gun down the lane

Im thinking about the ball being as long as possible, but fairly round if possible off the spot

Suggestions?

I recently hosted an EBI demo that had this ball for customers to throw. It is rediculously clean through the heads. I did see the flip on the back end you are talking about. A way you can round this out is to go with a higher pin position layout. This will allow the ball to tumble more towards the pocket rather than flipping off the spot. That has been my experience. Hope this helps.

I thought a higher pin would make it go longer?

How do I round it out then?

I was thinking something like 55x5x60 which should put the pin in or below my fingers

But I do want the ball to be longer if possible, so Im not sure

I just want long as possible and smooth on the back end as possible

I guess a combination of the 2, but skid/flippy is not the best for me

I go with higher and farther from my axis to make the backend smoother

go 60*3 1/2*30. use a p3 hole to give at bit more midlane

i ended up with a 30 x 5.5 x 55 and it put the pin slightly in my middle finger(just partly above), no weight hole

left it OBB and it is pretty impressive.

easy length, smooth arcing, but strong motion and it carries everything, pretty amazing.

I was hesitant to drill this ball as I did not like the 607.

Now I m sure glad I did

I have a question about your personal info: How do you refer to your self having a Fairly High track with a PAP of 4 3/4 over, I thought a High track was a 5 1/2 over?

The ball is asymetric. The longer pin to pap make it roll more forward. The 60 mb angle give length, the 3 to 3½ pin to pap will retain rotation and the the 30 will make it transist fairly quick.
