607a se and 505t
« on: June 18, 2010, 01:42:53 PM »
Got these two balls on Tuesday.  All I can say is if you own a pro shop you better put in your order for this 607.  This ball is going to sell.  It is an absolute monster on the back ends.  Best way to describe this ball is it's a 505a on steroids.  If you are looking for skid flip this is it.  The 505t is a great ball as well.  I shoot 300 first game out of the box.  Polished one and left one with the surface it comes with.  The polished one is very smooth.  Probably the smoothest Track ball yet.  The one with surface is very strong in the midlane.  Two great balls from the best brand in bowling.

How would you compare the length and angularity of the 607A to the 505A and 715A? Honestly, when you said 'skid flip' that made me smile because I miss that type of ball reaction. I've seen the 715A thown by other league bowlers and it'a hit or miss from what they've told me. But the 505A I've only seen videos of it and it looks alot more angular compared to my QZ1.

I will definitely be picking up the 607A SE and the 505T when they are released.  I like my 505A, but would like something a bit more angular on the backend.  Sounds like the 607A SE will fit the bill.  I'm also looking forward to the 300C.

from what I saw the 715a was angular but it didnt make its move quickly.

the 505a improved on that and makes its move quicker.

directdrill,

If you want a "little" more than the 505A, try the 920A. I watched a friend throw it at a few league nights, and that thing does make a "turn"!!!! Use smaller Drill and VAL angles for more and even sharper backend. Definite carry Monster!

to dark-rising:  the 607a is just as long as those to balls but I feel the 607a is stronger than both the 715a and 505a.  This ball really makes a turn on the back.  hope this helps

Great ball or good ball, you will certainly notice it on the lane.

I have to agree with Charlest on this. 920A with smaller angles is a beast on the backend. My 920A drilled 35*x5x35* has yet to not make the corner for me on the backend. For me it is perfect when you want to wheel the lane to start or you find yourself needing that extra kick on the backend of the lane to get out the corners.

For the 607A SE, I have two drilled right now. The first one is drilled 60*x6"x75*, surface at 1000. I will use it tonight in practice and let you know what I see. The other one I should have some info for you also.

I got all mine in last week while out of town and got a change to punch some of them up last night and I'll be testing them out the next few days.  I'll tell you what I think then but I tested the 607A while I was out of town and it's definitly more angular than the 505a.

Was in the pro shop today asking about ordering the 920T and they just got a box in of the 607A and it's a really sweet ball to look at with the yellow and black mix.

That very could be...

But according to their number system...

A 920a should be stronger than a 715A, and a 715A should be stronger than a 505A...

But now a 607a is stronger???...

Ok if you say so....

But to some it sounds like what ever comes out LAST is the biggest and the best...

And I never felt a 715A was angular... To me it was smooth as silk...

And I thought it was just me, my 715A is very smooth as well. It doesn't have much of an angular motion at all.
