607A - thoughts and/or deals online?
« on: November 28, 2010, 03:11:38 AM »
Really kicking myself for missing the 607a specials that were out there about 6 weeks ago, but I just couldnt make up my mind.

Looking for thoughts on this ball. Seems to be a mixed bag. Also, reports of any deals online. Everywhere seems about the same right now.
Thanks in advance

If you want something strong at the spot it's hard to beat how angular this ball is. For me it's a stronger reaction than an angular one at the spot, but it accomplishes it with a hybrid coverstock making it a bit more sure footed up front. Great ball.

i would check out the 916AT  -- i did have a 607A and sold it. but to the balls defense i dont believe i had the correct lay out, because it just didn't react like i wanted it too. i was going to get another and drill it differently, but then i herd about the 916AT that was going to come out, so i waited for it. im really glad i did. i am definitely getting the reaction i was looking for with this ball. the 916AT just flat out works. im not saying the 607A will be a bad choice, but i absolutely love the 916AT.

I agree how strong this ball is off the spot however it is not a hybrid cover.
Other then that, I have to agree with the everything you said. The biggest thing is to make sure you have this and every ball drilled off your PAPs and have the cover adjusted to fit your game and wanted reactions.
