7-10!
« on: March 27, 2006, 01:25:28 PM »
HEY FASTTRACKERS,

Add another accomplishment to the book. 9th frame of the third game, I left the 7-10 split. None of us ever expect anything good to come out of it. So being somewhat disappointed, I took my Desert Heat, moved all the way left and just threw caution to the wind at the 10 pin as hard as I could. The 10 ricocheted very quickly to the other side taking out the 7 pin! Needless to say I was pumped up afterwards!! Chalk up more success to my trusty Desert Heat for my 7-10 Split Conversion! I may never convert it again in my life, but I can at least look back on this accomplishment! Well, thanks for reading and God Bless you all! Have a great week!

Great job Mike! It's one of the many things I've yet to accomplish in bowling myself, keep up the great work with Track products!

Good job i did it at 10 years old got 50 bucks for it too boot, i had no idea that it was a big deal. An old timer made the front desk guy pay me the cash, there was sign posted 50.00 for a 7-10 conversion and a 100.00 for a 300. That was 1976 btw haha damn i am old.

tuesday and tonight (thursday) I've picked up the ten, and it bounced out and would have definately taken out the seven... if it were there. lol.

Does that count for anything?!

Maybe it's a push in the right direction! Like a sign or something.

That's cool Mike, Congrats. With your ball speed and accuracy you'll pick it up again.

I've converted the 7-10 twice now but I only saw it happen once.
Turned my back on the other one and didn't see the 10 get the 7.

Hey congrats Mike.  I haven't accomplished that task. Probably never will have a hard enough time picking 10s as it is and I can throw that ball hard enough to get it to kick.

The question isn't why do I throw all Track, it's why don't you.

Arsenal includes:
Rule GP2, Rule Delta 1, Heat Blast, Triton Heat,  Desert Heat, Blue Enforcer, Sugar Ray Leonard Boxing Glove

That was back when picking up the 7-10 meant something.  You had to do it with an old rubber or plastic ball, not one of the high-powered, hook-in-a-box balls we have today.  Now, kids just throw the ball hard and it's 10-in-the-pit.  Accuracy means nothing and power means everything.

Congrats, Mike.  I've only seen it picked up on TV, and I don't think it's been made at my house in sanctioned league.
