What is the 714C mentioned on today's PBA telecast, December 9?

It wasnt "mentioned" but if you dvr'd the telecast, you can go back and look and see that fagan has it in his arsenal right under the 811 c/t

I've drilled up both my 714c's and compared them to the last few 7 series balls and I will say this. It's a much different shape in that line. Clean down the lane and very rolly and continuous. It will also be a handful stronger than the 716C as the C in the 714 is for "continuous". If you're wanting to replace your 716C it will work but still expect a bit earlier.

I love my 716C, its very predictable and gets down the lane pretty easy.. The drilling I have on mine is one of my favs for reading the mid-lane pretty well..
Which I had on my Virtual Gravity ( and was awesome! ) and I have it on my 916AT also, and makes it a lot stronger than the 716c...
