715A reviews

The 715A is a very different ball than anything we have had in the last couple of years. It is a higher RG ball with medium high diff and a medium mass bias. It is a great addition to the arsenal because it makes a shape that we haven't had in years.

The line of balls last couple of years have had too much seperation between the kinetic line and the rising line. The mid balls were very close to the kinetics in overall hook and the risings were a lot bigger than the Kinetics. The 715A bridges that gap in core strength. I am very impressed with how easily they clear the fronts and how strong they are down lane. I have drilled 4 of them so far and haven't found one I have not liked. The ones I drilled are 5 1/2 by 4 1/2 pin above, 6 by 4 1/2 below, 6 by 2 1/2 below and one 4 by 6 below.

The 5 12/ by 4 1/2 above is very clean in the front, extreeeemly angular in the back and went through the pins like they weren't there. This ball is too angular to play on tour patterns early, but after they have broken down I was able to move left and open the lane up and have a lot of area.

The 6 by 2 1/2 below is very clean in the front but much archier in the back and about an arrow weaker in overall hook. This ball with a light scuffing is very good on the fresh and hits better than anything I have drilled on this controll drilling.

The 6 by 4 1/2 below is very similar to the 6 by 2 1/2 in the front but is stronger and more angular down lane. It is about 3 boards stronger and is the ball to go to when moving farther left and needing more recovery down lane.

The 4 by 6 is very smooth and archy with pop on the back. I normally can not drill a core this strong with a 4 inch pin because it will give up too much down lane but with the higher rg and the 6 inch mass it is suprisingly good. I am very impressed with the balls and am happy to have the gap filled in our arsenal with this ball.
