715t vs 912T
« on: June 02, 2012, 10:45:25 PM »
I had a 919c last year expecting a heavy oiler.
Couldn't get rid of it fast enough, very disappointing.
My fault for not doing enough research.

Now I am looking for a true heavy oil ball and I love track, but I am hesitant to get the 912t unless I get to try one at demo days or find someone who has one.

Might have to look at other EBO line up for this missing piece
Just switched to 15 lbs this past season and my heavy oil ball now is my 715t pin up, also have a 4.5" pin-pap, pin down outburst.
those are my 2 heavy ones, but I need something more for the longer, heavier patterns

Thoughts?

I have a 716T that has more movement then anything I have thrown in a long time. The 912's cover is based off the 716's. I can't really imagine a having something stronger than my 716 right now and that exactly what the 912T is.

I know what you mean about the 919C.  It never has handled heavy oil for me well, but have found it very usable on some medium-heavy conditions.  That ball is more of a control piece on that.

The 912T from what I have seen so far should be right be up there with the RG Defiant, Brunswick Nexxus, and Storm VG Nano.  The cover is stronger than the 716T but uses the proven Legion 2 Turbo core.  If it turns out to be everything that Track is saying it will be, then Track will finally have a great heavy oil alternative to compete with Utah and Big B.

I have one. Ball does as promised. Hooks more than any other track ball. You will not be dissapointed. I had to shoot on two separate days to make my video in order to be able to get enough shots between me and my employee throwing the ball. Looking forward to testing on real heavy oil this week.
