715T vs 920T

I'm looking at a Track ball to fill my need for a longer pattern/larger volume pattern. I currently have a 920A that is very smooth, a 505A that is decently angular for the lighter conditions. I also have a Hy-Road and Reign of Fire in my arsenal. My ROF doesn't roll like it used to, but the Hy-Road is still in good condition. 

I'm deciding between the 715T and the 920T. Can you tell me what you feel each reaction would be? and what would be beneficial to my arsenal?
 
Since the 920T is the first hybrid, would it be similar to my Hy-Road? I know it's difficult to compare across companies but the talk about it being one of the most versatile balls in the Track line is making me think it is similar in reaction, as well?

715T is a string ball with great continuation, if I was comparing to Storm, it is close to the Virtual Gravity.
 It is great on heavy and long patterns. I do not have a 920T, but from what I have seen it doesnt look like it hanldes volume as well as the 715.
 
I have 715T and 505T, both handle oil well! The 505T is smoother and a bit more versatile about 4 boards weaker than 715T.
 
The 715T is a great ball!~

i don't have a 715T, but i have seen it in action and is very strong on the back end. i do have the 916AT and i would recommend you checking into this ball. its cover is versatile, shine it up for an angular move or dull for more traction, thus for longer patterns. i love it and it hits like jagermeister does , it  kicks !!!

I have both drilled identical, the 715T is much earlier, being a solid covers more total boards, handles more oil very strong and continious. The 920T is a hybrid inter mix, pearl, higher rg core, mine is about 3-4 feet longer with a very strong back end, more for when the shot begins to break down abd the 715T is too much I use it to follow the 715T or when on lighter volumes.

I would assume Steve is comparing OOB surfaces?  Do take into account the 715T is 2000 abralon OOB and the 920T is 4000 abralon so that will account for Steve's length with both. 
 
I had a 920T at 2000 abralon and it got about the same length as a team mates 715T.....the 715T Ump Gen4T cover I would believe stronger than the Intermix Hybrid cover on the 920T would also factor into the equation.

Not sure how helpful this is but my Mission at 1k with some polish reacts 3 feet sooner than my 920T at 1k. Both are pin down drillings with the 920T having a weight hole at the P3 quad to have it roll sooner. 

 

I have a 715T on the way, I think, and I will drill it similiarly and see what happens. 

 

I am left handed so anything meant for oil is drilled strong to smoothen out the backend for me.

The 715T is the much better choice if you want a ball from Track for heavy oil. The 920T however is very versital but I have played with mine alot and even my strong drileld one needs to be at 1000 or less to handle as much oil as my 715T did OOB. I had the 715T at 2000 and it rolled out on Route 66 for me, but I have a high rev rate, yet that should give you an idea on how strong the 715T is on oil. Route 66 is not a very heavy volume but it is very long. At 2000, OOB, it was just to much for me. I was able to use the 505T at 4000 though. my 920T at 4000 never picked up.

 

However if you want something for league that you can find yourself using all night, starting right and moving in as the shot breaks down. Go with the 920T, it is a very good ball that is overlooked. However as I stated if you want the big dog for oil from us, get the 715T.

Just an update..I put my 920T at 3x4k and 1x1k and it finally looks like the surface I like.  It's smooth and picks up on the backend nicely.  It's more of a medium control ball.  I drilled up the 715T the same way and oob its what I want.  It picks up and keeps driving in spots where the 920T lost it's energy.  Both have their places.  Just wanted to add my 2 cents.  Both are pin downs with the MB kicked out about 2.5 inches.

I like to use the 920T at one house; starting right, moving left as the night transitions.  I have Xtra-Shine polish on a 2000 surface.  Shot a 799 with it a few months back.  Haven't tried a 715T.

 

I do like the HyRoad though; I have a couple of them and they haven't lost any strength!  Amazing piece!
