Title: 716T
Post by: Grumpy515 on March 28, 2012, 03:02:22 PM
I have been checking this site for a couple weeks now looking for a reveiw on the 716T by Track and I can not even find it listed. Can anyone help me find the ball or let me know what you think of it?

716T is a great ball for heavier house shots and patterns. Drilled mine 5.5 inches off axis, mass bias at 45 degrees. What I like is that I can play straight on patterns and I can open up my angles without losing hits. A great upgrade to the 715T. If you are looking for a heavier oil ball, you definitely need to get the 716T.

Agreed. Finally got to throw it last night and all I can say is that I've been waiting for a ball like this for years where I can throw it as hard as I want (within reason, of course) and still have it come back on the heavier volumes.

I am about to make a video. It has taken a while to get to it because there have been so many great balls coming out lately. If you'd like to check out some of the other ball vids we post all of them on our facebook page. If not I'll post a review and video shortly.

I agree with Curt. This ball is very very versatile, I am also able to use my up the boards but also able to move left when the lanes allow me too. I try to use mine as much as possible as the ball is really just that good. I would have to say it is probably the strongest ball we have out at the moment.

Anyone have a chance to neuter one up and see how it performs? I remember one of my friends having a fair amount of success with a 715T drilled with a fairly long pin position and 4000 w/polish at a house with a ton of burn (old wood lanes).

Tried it at a ball trial. It was set up with a drilling that is usually death(over/under) for me.
Over bridge (5.5)and mass bias kicked out. This same drilling on a rogue cell scores range from 270 to 130 in a blink of an eye. With my side roll can you say explosive!
However on the 716 T the box cover got reading real quick in the middle slop and the high flare potential had the ball keep flaring flaring flaring back towards the pocket.
A smooth hard hitting ball, made a usually too late pin position for me really turn in to a real controllable piece. If you are an up the backer I think you will have a different cover setup than I did to make this powerhouse work.
