« on: February 19, 2005, 06:13:33 AM »
Hey Guy's, I am down grading to 14lb's and am lookin for a new ball. My pap is 5 1/4   7/8th's and I have 11-14 revs. I am lookin for somthin I could make a surface adjustment to. I am gettin an animal soon (I hope ) And thats drilled for heavier oil. So I will need somthin for medium. Thanks for any help.

I am also lookin at the xception!

bowler,
You might want to look at the GP2 as it is very versatile. See my post just below yours.

yeah, I was reading that.. The problem is my freak a zoid laid out stacked is over hooking. I threw my sanded voodoo that is at 600 and it gave me a better read but it was DOA, but I kept to off to the right side of the head pin.

Track will tell you the original Rule is for medium oil. The 3 high performance balls they have come out this year could complete an arsenal for about anyone. The Rule GP2 for heavy oil, the original Rule for mediums, and the Xception for medium dry lanes. The Rule, although the cover is more aggressive than the FAZ, has a higher RG, and with how versatile the Rev Lever core is to drillings, you can get it to go longer than your FAZ for you.

bowler257628,

I think the Xception would be perfect for what you are looking for. It gets down the lane more than the Freakazoid......and the Xception is definately not for heavier oil.

Hey bowler,

yeah, yeah...your Animal will be on its way.  I also like the Xception under the Animal if you want a greater separation but chi-town is correct.  The ball can be pretty strong especially with your hand so maybe a weak mb is a good choice on layout for that ball.
