new arsenal help please
« on: June 30, 2006, 09:33:31 PM »
OK, here it is. After punching up a few practice balls without finger inserts and pitch changes, I found something that feels pain free and gives me a smoother release. Here is what I plan on drilling up real soon with the new grip changes:

here is what specs i drilled.

span: 4 3/4 4 7/8
thumb 0 reverse, 1/8 left side (was 1/8 rev, 1/8 rt)
fingers 1/8 forward, 1/8 side (was 1/8 reverse, 1/4 side)

MEAN MACHINE
MACHINE
EQUATION
ARSENAL ANGULAR
HEAT BLAST
FLAMING T

Let me know what you guys think. The only hole I can see is in between the T and the Heat Blast.

I agree Rev o! There is a little bit of a gap between the Blast and the T spare ball.I think i'd throw in a Desert Heat between the two and be good to go! Sounds like a nice arsenal!

one more thing i noticed, without finger inserts, my ball track moved up quite a bit. Still about 2 inches from the fingers and thumb, but much higher than with grips. I thing this might be a good thing too!

I might get another EX. I have one now with grips. I just don't like plugged equipment.

Hey Steve, this is most likely due to the change in your thumb lateral from 1/8 right to 1/8 left.  Our thumb laterals dictate "how" we come out of the ball.  Having an 1/8 left lateral makes it a little more difficult to come "around" the ball vs having it drilled with right lateral.

I think you need a Robo in there...just cause!
