three times out with the rising and the third times a charm. I saw the great reaction and contination . Decent cary and veryy miss friendly,left or right. Its no heavy oil monster in fact mine is at 500 and its perfaect for how i like to shoot on ths. swing in the strikes and that is what i got from this ball . I really didnt expect it to be so contollable at 500 on this short shot but it works very well. not alot of speed or effort required.It held line nicely on inside shots and as long as i wasnt to deep with it it always recovered. very good ball for medium shots and maybe even drier,but for oil the mean machine is way better.

new rising drilled by tenpinspro.  15lb, 4-5" pin, pin over ring, mb about 1/2 way between thumb and pap.  tried it on fresh house shot.  38', mild ob to outside, moderately clean backends.  with my speed and release, had to stand 30, through 13 to about 8.  if i hit it hard, it went out to about 6 and made a strong left turn to the pocket.  if i stroked it, it made it only to about 10-8 and still made a strong left turn to the pocket.  only when i threw it bad did it not make that move.  long, strong, not real release sensitive.  this is what i have been looking for in a medium-heavy house shot ball.  tried lev rg on the same shot.  same hook amount, more of an even arc.  will probably take this ball to 500A or less for albuquerque and other heavier patterns and leave the rising oob.  very nice

If this is the only one you have, I say pick up another and put the suggested layout on it. You will get about the same length, yet the backend move will be stronger and you will be able to handle more oil. The suggested layout will make you look like you put more into the ball then you really did. You can ask Jason AKA TyroneShoelaces. He came down to the shop saturday with his. Got it drilled up and well, I have bowled along side Jason a few times and never in the times I have bowled with him or just watched him bowl have I ever seen him play a line like he was playing. He sent one from 21 at the lin 16 at the arrows out to 3 and just when you thought it was going to hit the 10 pin it turned up and hit high flush.

i had mine taken to 500 and its nowhere near strong enough for oil ,if i polish it will it be more useable on med heavy to dry cause it was way too strong sunday night but wouldnt wrinkle sunday morning

When you sand a ball, you wont see much backend unless there is alot of oil in the heads and really clean backends. This sometimes can even cause roll out because the first contact with the dry will be so aggresive that the ball will just rev so much off the first contact that you wont get movement. If you own a PM you know what I mean by this if you try to get to deep with it in the oil. Once it comes off the oil it can tend to sometimes give the no hook look but if you watch it really rolled out. The rising is a beast on heavy oil. I tryed mine at 360 one night when the lanes were completly covered. The lane machine didnt strip the backends and it still layed out the 45 foot house shot. So the lanes were soaked. However the rising at 360 with suggested layout was strong enough to make the turn from me playing 20-10 as long as my speed was right.

Ending measurements were 5x3 1/8 mb pin 3 5/8 above mid line (OOB).  Went to watch bowl400 throw this ball and it was very impressive with its length and backend capabilities.  I have Rising #2 (polished) drilled very similar to this and it offers me the same reaction.

The house we bowled at decided to place some OB at about 5-6 out, if bowl400 or myself squared up to this, the Rising ate right thru it.  Sending it some into the OB required a little more revs.  He had a nice area from 12 out (tug line) to about 5-6 with easy recovery with great hit.  It carried extremely well....

mine is a beast as long as there are dry boards it absolutely does nothing in oil. it has awesome backend and great recovery on any level of short oil ,but for me in the soup,dont even take it out of the bag its a hockey puck. maybe its not truly at 500 ,but what ever its at its perfect for med heavy to med. needs head oil though.

bowled the holiday no tap tournament today with the rising.  this house features medium-heavy oil out about 38', clean backends, and a little hang outside of 5.  when i threw it well with a solid release, the rising did what it was supposed to do.  when i did not throw it well, the results were not nice.  as of right now, the ball is still impressive to me, but somewhat release sensitive.  my kinetic for now is more forgiving.
