In the debut video, Fig mentions that the first number in the "naming system" designates cover strength.
I thought that it designated the performance level. If it is strictly cover strength, how do you explain Mitch''s comment when he was demoing the 505T about it having the strongest cover in that line?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tqONwIQA_zI I mean, if the 5 series balls have covers of different strengths, like Mitch''s comment would lead one to believe, how can Fig''s comment about the number designating the cover strength be true.
Or vice versa
If Fig''s comment is correct, then the "weakest" 9 series cover should still be more powerful than the "strongest" 5 series ball, shouldn''t it?
And, if Mitch''s comment is correct, then you MIGHT be able to get the "strongest" 5 series ball to outperform the "weakest" 9 series ball, which would make me question why I should spend more to get the 9 series ball in the first place.
Ron Hickland says that it (505T) won''t outhook a 7 series or a 9 series, but it looks pretty strong to me.
I''m confused and my head hurts.
These two comments seem to be conflicting each other
