Tell me about your Slash!?!?!?

I was just wanting some feedback on the Slash. What your pros and cons are about it? It would be pin above and between the fingers and cg directly below. Any input would be great! Thanks!

I love mine drilled 4-1/2 by 4/ 1/2 very smmoth in the front and hits like a truck not crazy overreactive on the back I`m going to drill another one soon 5x3. This surface is also easily adjustable I`ve seen a few guys bowl well with them shiny.

If yours is factory surface, it is a benchmark ball. It will not be the biggest hooking earliest rolling ball, nor will it be a dry lane ball...right in the middle to give you a good read ont he lane conditions. Don't expect a hockey stick type of reaction out of it, just a true rolling ball.

I love my Slash, but it's mostly used for a benchmark ball, especially when I need a consistent controlled look on the lanes. I bring this ball to tournaments with me and its bailed me out a few times, especially when I need a steady arc move to push through the heads and still motor a little on the back. Great sport shot ball to in my opinion. I put mine with the pin under ring finger and I also put a light coat of polish over the factory surface.

Shining it will make it go longer, handle drier lanes better and not be as good of a benchmark ball or handle oil well. Dulling it more makes it hook earlier, thuis giving you less backend and making it read the lane quicker, which, if you have some oil, is not a bad thing, but as a benchmark ball, is not what you want. If this is not your benchmark ball, then have at er! Track's covers are very user friendly and adjust with ease.
