The Hexplosion is not bad. With the correct layout it is not a bad dry lane ball at all.

Actually......if you were to wait a couple months, I believe there is a rumor floating around that Track is going to release a pearl version of the Dry Heat.  If this is true, I cannot wait.  Just put a label drilling in it and you should be fine.  If you cannot wait, drill up a Dry Heat pretty weak.  Mine is drilled label and I have a high track and high rev rate and even it can get pretty aggressive on the backend.  I had to adjust the surface on mine.  I sanded up to 1000 and polish with Clean and Sheen.  That seemed to take some of the flip out of it and now gives it a more controllable backend.

what do mean dry lanes?

if it is real dry lane where there is no oil in the heads, midlane or downlane then nothing but a plastic ball will work.

now if you mean a short oil pattern real light. the dry heat will work so-so drill it with a 105 deg layout pin under ring and cg negative. try to keep thumb weight out as I found that to be too much burn in the midlane.

Hey wicked,

I have my Crash fined to 1500(Haus), high glossed and this gives me a pretty decent look on the drier conditions other then the sahara.  Another choice would be the Hexplosion like Ex stated but I would also recommend drilling it weak with a good shine for a more even controlled look.  Hope this helps...
