??? Track Int. Sleeper ball ???
« on: January 15, 2005, 08:14:39 PM »
Yes thats right track released a sleeper ball that all you wanna bee's need to jump on. Okay that was harsh, but really folks whats up with you and the SLASH. This one amazing ball but all i hear is Rule this, Exception there, and now GP2 that. When you need to be saying SLASH this! SLASH there!, and SLASH that!.

C'mon folks and wake up, let's go SLASH the lanes, but in a good way.

Who's with me???

I pretty much said the same thing.....minus the wannabe part. Although the Slash is very good, you should not discount the Rule, Xception and definately do not discount the GP2

For those that love the stuff from a few years ago the Slash was originally known as the Triton Elite (solid).  This ball is phenomenal and one of the most versatile pieces you can get.

Except now the Slash uses the Enhanced version of Super-Flex (Track calls it Power Plus EX) vs the Elite's "standard" version. The Enhanced is also used in the CrunchTime and it seems a hair stronger and earlier than the original Super-Flex (Track calls it Power Plus).

You're right, the Slash is an excellent ball.  As charlest mentioned, this has a stronger cover than the Elite.  People should not be turned off by the specs of the Slash, it is one STRONG ball.  Strong yet controllable.

Ex, Ten and I have all mentioned at some time or another that the Slash may be the most underrated ball in the current Track line. It is a great performer at a GREAT price. I have mentioned before with the huge success of the high performance line, many others have a tendency to overlook the other lines. This is a great tourney ball for me and has a spot in one of my bags every time I go to a tourney, and I feel most others could benefit as well from this ball.

S-h-h-h! Don't tell anyone about the SLASH.
I ordered another one (and an Xception).
