Title: Absolute Analog
Post by: boondoggle on July 20, 2005, 04:13:57 PM
I picked up an Absolute Inferno recently because it was too good a deal to pass up and I like the ball overall, especially the fact that I can get it to the pocket from anywhere on the lane, but it just doesn't hit and carry like my Track stuff.  So, my question is: What would be the Track equivalent in the current line to the Absolute?

Probably the Xception 5.0 or the Blue Heat.  Both are medium-heavy balls, though the Blue Heat is a dull particle ball.  The X5.0 is an asymmetric particle pearl, but seems like it would have the midlane and backend that the Absolute Inferno would.

If those fail, there's always the Slash.  Probably it can be made to perform similarly.

I'd wait for the Arsenal Reactive since the 5.0 and the Blue heat are particle balls and the Absolute is not.

boondoggle,

The 5.0 gives a similiar look to the Absolute but with more backend, and naturally....more hitting power

boondoggle,
Wait for the arsenal reactive it will be very close to a absolute inferno.I heard through the grapevine in CATS test these balls very very close, but our ball will be better because it has the big "T" on it. LOL
